Travelling to the show The Business Design Centre is located in Islington, in the north of London. It is a vibrant and dynamic area of the capital and offers a great selection of restaurants, shops, bars and cafes – all within easy walking distance of the venue! The Business Design Centre itself has a stunning vaulted roof and a contemporary feel, despite its longevity. This means plenty of natural light over the show floor which lends itself perfectly to the display of the best of UK housewares and small appliances. The venue is five minutes’ walk from the Angel underground station on the Northern Line, which in turn is only a short tube ride away from the Euston and Kings Cross mainline stations. Although we recommend you travel to the Exclusively shows wherever possible by public transport, there are 200 paid for spaces in the car park alongside the Business Design Centre and limited additional capacity in the area.

As all our regular visitors will know this year also sees the launch of our new sister show Exclusively Electrical, edited with small electricals buyers in mind. Travelling to the show The Business Design Centre is located in Islington, in the north of London. It is a vibrant and dynamic area of the capital and offers a great selection of restaurants, shops, bars and cafes – all within easy walking distance of the venue! The Business Design Centre itself has a stunning vaulted roof and a contemporary feel, despite its longevity. This means plenty of natural light over the show floor which lends itself perfectly to the display of the best of UK housewares and small appliances. The venue is five minutes’ walk from the Angel underground station on the Northern Line, which in turn is only a short tube ride away from the Euston and Kings Cross mainline stations. Although we recommend you travel to the Exclusively shows wherever possible by public transport, there are 200 paid for spaces in the car park alongside the Business Design Centre and limited additional capacity in the area.

he first presentation will start at 10am with Mike Robey, T sustainable electricals programme manager of WRAP, the government’s resource efficiency body. Mike will be covering the latest news on the Electrical Sustainability Action Plan (esap) which seeks to deliver value through sustainability for electrical appliance suppliers and retailers. He will be followed at 10.30am by Anthony Williams, housewares account director from leading market research company GfK. Anthony will be providing a briefing session titled ’The changing face of food preparation and dining’, which will cover developments in the housewares and small electricals market. Finally, at 11am, trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus, represented by Victoria Redshaw and Phil Pond, will be sharing their thinking and research on the design, material and pattern trends that are likely to have the most impact on the housewares and small electricals product sectors - focusing on Christmas 2015 and on into the spring/summer season for 2016. All three sessions will take place in the presentation room located opposite stand 442 on the Gallery, which will be signposted. They are free to attend, with seats allocated on a first come, first served basis. The presentation room will also feature a trends display prepared by the Scarlet Opus team utilising material from exhibitors, which will be available for visitors to view throughout the show.
