ITT Hub makes its UK debut

Innovation &Technology in Transport - ITT Hub - is the UK’s new, ground-breaking, free-to-attend exhibition and conference, supporting the government’s transport decarbonisation plan.

With around 150 exhibitors, the event will be the UK’s largest gathering of commercial vehicles, fleet suppliers and companies involved in energy, charging and infrastructure for over a year, with representation from across the road-based commercial and passenger transport sector. The free to attend, two-day Future Logistics Conference, organised by Logistics UK, will address the key issues which the sector is facing, with a line-up of key influencers and agenda setters.

World-class venue

It is being staged on 30 June and 1 July at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre - a truly world-class venue offering ample free car parking. For those travelling by air, Heathrow is only 30 minutes and Gatwick 50 minutes by car and located just over 30-minutes from London Waterloo by train. As well as 70% of ITT Hub taking place outdoors, there are also robust measures in place to ensure guests feel safe and confident indoors too, ensuring a Covid secure environment for both visitors and exhibitors alike.

The road to net zero

Post-pandemic, the UK economy will take a huge amount of rebuilding. Transport is to play a crucial part in the recovery, and a key role in hitting government’s 2050 net-zero target.ITT Hub enables the sector to seize the opportunity to re-engage through collaboration, supporting the Government’s policies of ‘build back better’ and ‘build back greener’.

Leading brands

A diverse range of vehicles from leading manufacturers will be on display – both indoors and outdoors – and in a unique development for a UK show, there will be a two-mile Ride & Drive facility for supervised demonstration drives, enabling visitors to experience the vehicles in action. Leading brands including Ford, Alexander Dennis Ltd, DAF Trucks, Iveco, Mercedes, Renault Trucks, BYD, Caetano, Pelican Yutong, Dawson Bus and Coach, Fiat, Volta Trucks, Arrival, Harris MAXUS and Wrightbus will be taking centre stage, offering the first opportunities to see their new van, truck coach and bus ranges for 2021.

Thought-provoking

The event also features The Future Logistics Conference, a high-profile, two-day conference, devised by and in association with Logistics UK, opened by a keynote address from astronaut Major Tim Peake CMG. The strong programme of relevant sessions, addressing the key challenges shaping our industry, will be delivered by thought leaders, innovators and experts, representing a wide range of businesses and stakeholders, including Lloyds Bank, Logistics UK, Centrica Plc, Innovate UK, Highways England and the RAC Foundation. For visitors wishing to arrive by electric power, ITT Hub is providing a dedicated free electric shuttle bus from Farnborough Main railway station direct to the heart of the venue, using new Pelican/Yutong electric buses.
