ROAD MAINTENANCE & ROAD CONSTRUCTION

We specialise in road maintenance and road construction, offering a complete package for all services required from material production through to the finished product. Public sector clients include the Department for Infrastructure, TII and various council areas both in NI and ROI. Our private surfacing division caters for a wide range of developers, building contractors and domestic surfacing clients. We are members of the Road Surface Treatment Association and our products and services have achieved CE Marking accreditation.

SURFACE TREATMENTS & MASTIC ASPHALT REINSTATEMENTS

We have invested in a modern fleet of surface dressing plant and equipment which completes a schedule in excess of 1 million square metres per year through our term contracts with the DFI and privately procured work. Having a CE accreditation, our expert staff can complete site inspections and advise on design to ensure our clients can make the most informed decision on the treatment required.

We offer Mastic Asphalt reinstatements for all ironwork in pavements and areas of high stress. Our mastic asphalt produced at our asphalt coating plant in Northern Ireland has achieved CE Mark accreditation.

Scottish Division

Our Scottish division in Motherwell started in 2020 and has since provided surfacing and surface treatment services to local Main Contractors as well as new clients in the public and private sectors within Scotland.

Civil Engineering

We possess the expertise and capabilities to deliver widely varying civil engineering projects, including but not limited to car park construction, public realm and environmental improvement, and construction of sports pitches and playgrounds.

Demolition

As a founder member of the Northern Ireland Demolition Association, we have been carrying out demolition works in Northern Ireland for over 40 years. We provide an efficient service in all aspects of dismantling and demolition. Our ability to recycle or suitably dispose of all types of demolition materials allows us to offer a complete professional package.

Mcquillan Quarries

McQuillan Quarries has been a leading supplier of Bituminous products, high PSV aggregate, and sub-base materials throughout Great Britain and Ireland for generations. We have two asphalt coating plant locations outside Belfast and Dromore. These allow us to supply our own contracting division and serve the public market for any Bituminous material needs. We supply specialist products including Quicksurf for deferred set temporary repairs and Mactex, a HAPAS proprietary thin surfacing product.

Mcquillan Environmental

McQuillan Environmental is one of Northern Irelands leading waste management company, providing recycling and hazardous waste management to leading companies in Great Britain and Ireland.

Our facilities include a Hazardous Waste Management centre, a bespoke Chemical Treatment Facility, Soil Treatment Plant, and UKAS accredited analytical laboratory.

We offer a total waste management package with our Materials Recovery Facility and Transfer Station, which provides sustainable recycling options. The services we provide include collection, treatment, and disposal of all Hazardous Waste, commercial recycling and general waste collections, UKAS Accredited analytical services, wastewater treatment works adoption scheme, waste classification service, and Coal Tar services. This includes sample collection, PAK test identification, Analysis and Disposal. We aim to achieve a 100% diversion from landfill for all customers
