Dedicated Teamwork

So, to what does Conor attribute the company’s successful growth? “Hard work and a strong, dedicated and fully focused team – from our site workers and plant operators to senior management,” says Conor who is not afraid of leading from the front. “We are very fortunate we have the right people around us and are always searching for the best talent in the industry to join us.”

One of the driving forces on the Senior Management Team is Senior Contracts Manager PJ Fagan, supporting Conor’s dedication to be the best in the industry, managing client relationships and taking time to understand customer requirements by going that extra mile, which is why he was recognised as a High Achiever at last year’s annual Plant & Civil Engineer, following in the footsteps of Conor who himself was a recipient of the same High Achiever award a few years ago.

He was also awarded Construction Employee of the Year at the Newry Chamber Awards – further testament to his hard work and dedication, if it were needed. He has pushed for and consequently managed the company’s change over from fossil diesel to a high performance, low emission and drop-in alternative, such as Gd+ HVO.

Another key member of the Senior Management Team is Jonathan Connolly who fills the role of Senior Engineer and Head of Operations. Jonathan assists in the smooth running of the business with Conor, from engineering technical support, programme and sequencing, assisting in commercial reporting, and correlating all projects and staff in a structured format for the smooth operation of the business, while Paul Cole is responsible for delivering and maintaining world class health and safety procedures across all elements of the company.
