Dublin Tech Company Launch New Product for Construction Projects

Dublin-based tech company Kianda is launching a new software product called Kianda EHSwise that will empower the construction industry to move forward into the digital age.

Kianda’s all-in-one process automation and management software will bring significant improvements in Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality (EHSQ) management, helping companies to protect workers’ lives, increase project profitability while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and gaining competitive advantages.

Recently appointed Kianda CEO, Derya Sousa, with a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning and a master’s degree in Urban Planning, said of the new software product: “The construction industry is like any other industry. They need to deliver software solutions easily and quickly to maintain their competitive advantage and connect people to the processes. If they fail to embrace digital transformation and continue using outdated systems, prone to error, manual processes, they face the risk of being left behind. Kianda’s intuitive no-code technology provides a fast and easy way of delivering industry specific software.”

Kianda EHSwise is a user-friendly, mobile and offline-capable software and allows teams to manage health and safety processes such as incident reporting, audit planning, observations, energy reporting and more, to provide real-time information to field and office workers.

Kianda’s innovative solutions have simplified EHSQ management, allowing employers to deliver highquality projects without compromising compliance while maintaining complete transparency from start-to-finish.

Sousa said: “Working with leading construction companies, Kianda has built up experience and industry insights that we would like to share with a larger audience. We are excited to help more companies in the industry by providing them with a modern EHSQ software built for the future to help them move beyond manual processes and ensure compliance and profitability.”

Employees can use this software to collaborate and complete their EHSQ tasks quickly and efficiently by recording events and observations in real-time with apps that work anywhere. The Kianda EHSwise software is completely customisable and can be changed to suit any project no matter the scale. Employers can also use the software to interact with subcontractors to avoid unnecessary cost disputes and transfer across any data from previous systems. Kianda EHSwise is targeting construction companies with a size between 200 to 500 workers and limited IT teams.

Market research shows that companies of this size with 20-30 sites are spending at least half a day per week to input and report ESHQ related information manually. Kianda ESHwise software is expected to introduce more than €300,000 of savings annually just on manual paperwork costs across 20-30 projects.

Trusted by global brands, Kianda has an impressive client base including Mercury Engineering, Lagan Homes, Ardmac, AJI Bio Pharma and DEME, a world leader in the highly specialised fields of dredging, marine infrastructure, and offshore energy.
