NATIONWIDE ACCESS HIRE LAUNCH MARKS FURTHER EXPANSION FOR RMP HIRE
Dublin-based RMP Hire has just recently celebrated its first year in business and already owner, Ray Vaughan is in the process of implementing a major double expansion, with the launch of Nationwide Access Hire in Wathergrass Hill, County Cork. The new opening will also feature an RMP Hire depot for Cork.
Nationwide Access will specialise in powered access and a full range of workingat-height products. This encompasses boom platforms/lifts and cherry pickers, powered access platforms, scissor lifts, push-around aerial work platforms, vertical platform lifts/mast booms, spider lifts and a range of safety-at-height accessories.
“At RMP Hire, we do carry a range of access products and we’ve seen demand grow in that category. We’ve got several national customers already looking to us for powered access nationwide,” said Ray Vaughan. “It seemed the logical expansion move and we’re working with several plant sales specialists, for example, Glendun Plant Sales in Dungannon and we are building up our hire stock of leading names in the access industry, such as Skyjack, Snorkel, Boss, Genie and Niftylift.
Say Hello To Sinoboom 4647e
“We’re excited to have added the Sinoboom 4647E electric scissor lift to our hire offering from Nationwide Access,” continued Ray. “With Sinoboom you can be confident that you will be using a machine which is known worldwide for its reliability and cutting-edge technology. Including features such as full electric drive” The Sinoboom 4647E has a maximum working height and platform height of 15.8 and 13.8 metres respectively, with a sizeable platform of 2.64 x 1.15 x 1.1 metres. Even so, it boasts a small turning radius ensuring flexible operation, even in narrow spaces. The battery is maintenance-free and features a voltage early warning system to ensure battery life. The range of safety features is second to none, for example, foldable guardrails, bumper rail protection, tilt protection, an overload sensing system (overall capacity is 350 kg and even an automatic pothole guard.
In The Right Place And Safe Hands
With an established industrial area, Watergrass Hill is a village about 20km north of Cork City, adjacent to the Priory Court turnoff from the M8, making it an ideal location for the southern counties of Ireland. The launch of Nationwide Access, together with a Cork depot for RMP Hire in addition to its established Dublin headquarters, gives the operation genuine, all-Ireland coverage, ensuring quick, easy and comprehensive hire solutions across the board for existing and new customers.
“We will be servicing Nationwide Access Hire customers using the same systems as for RMP Hire, so customers can come to us for all their short-term and long- term access hire solutions,” continued Ray. “Our rates are already competitive and we can offer additional discounts on long-term hire. Our service record at RMP Hire speaks for itself and Nationwide Access customers can expect fast, efficient and responsive customer care.” “Having built a dedicated team, we feel that now is the right time to expand in to an area that we are getting enquires from weekly. To continue with our dedicated customer service we have recently taken on another full time plant fitter to service all of our equipment and are also offering service and repair for our customers own machines. GA1 testing is also available” Although RMP Hire has just celebrated its first year in business and Nationwide Access is a brand new name on the Irish hire scene, Ray Vaughan is no stranger to the plant hire business. He has over two decades of plant hire experience across two continents. After spending 12 years in various plant hire operations in England,
Ray moved to Melbourne, Australia to work with Hiredepot, a multi-branch hire company established in 1989 and covering every aspect of construction plant and equipment hire. Ray moved to Ireland seven years ago and established RMP Hire in 2022. One year on and with the launch of Nationwide Access Hire in Cork and further expansions planned, he looks set to become a major player in the plant and access hire industry.
