OUT & ABOUT IN WNC

One of the best parts of our monthly sales meetings is hearing about what agents have been up to in Western North Carolina. From helping build communities up through service to celebrating with clients, below are a few fun highlights to share from our “Company News Feed.”

COMMUNITY CONNECTION

In October, a team of our BHHS Great Smokys Realty agents took part in volunteering with Hands On Jackson. Our project was to do some clearing along a bank for an elderly gentleman, Mr. Stafford, in Whittier. At 94 years young, Mr. Stafford was cutting wood the morning prior to our arrival and he walked the drive with us several times to show us around the area. He had a great sense of humor. When we asked him to get in a picture with all of us, he said “might break your camera.” Simply amazing! It felt good to give back to the community as well as engage in some great team building! #bhhsgreatsmokysrealty #CommunityGiveBack #handsonjackson #jacksonconc #volunteer

TRAIL MAINTENANCE DAY

Our very own Jay Spiro participated in a “trail maintenance” day at Forney Ridge Trail, located near Clingmans Dome in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Along with fellow volunteers, he helped staff crews build and maintain the trail. Jay shared that this is a great way to “give back” if you’re a hiker or outdoorsperson.
