Climb aboard one of our historic train cars as it departs Bryson City Depot for the North Pole to pick up Santa Claus himself. Upon arriving at our depot, you’ll be immersed in the story as our chefs serve you hot chocolate and sweet treats while singing and dancing all the way to the Pole! Downtown businesses in the Heart of Brevard decorate their windows with spectacular, eye-popping displays for all to enjoy. The holiday window competition showcases festive and fun windows, mirroring the Chamber’s annual Christmas parade theme. A panel of celebrity judges vote on the windows for winners in five categories. Visitors to downtown can also vote for their favorite window to win the People’s Choice Award!

The newly revamped Christmas in Sylva celebration begins on Friday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. with the official lighting of the Sylva Christmas tree at the fountain on Main Street. This event is provided by the Main Street Sylva Association. Enjoy a holiday-themed concert and free hot chocolate! Holiday Fireworks will be shot in downtown at 7:30 p.m. This is a Christmas gift to the Jackson County community to enjoy while shopping and dining out during the season. Enjoy!
