HOW TO QUALIFY The Montblanc reward is geared to giving something extra to the Top 25 Adviser who qualifies for the Offshore Convention for milestone years. THE PROCESS The PFA Channel Head announces the Top 25 qualifiers based on the Trophy Points results, prior to the Offshore Convention. Once the qualifiers have been announced, the National Marketing team is responsible for purchasing the Montblanc items and packaging for the Offshore Convention. The recipients will receive their gifts during the Business Session at the Offshore Convention. Please note: In 2011, an exception was made and all Top 25 Offshore qualifiers who attended the convention received gifts retrospectively. From 2012 onwards, Montblanc rewards will only be given to Top 25 Advisers who qualify for and attend the Offshore Convention in the milestone years as set out above.

HOW TO QUALIFY The PFA Top 25 Marketing Benefits are geared to enhance the current reward offering to Top 25 Advisers who qualify for AND attend the Offshore Convention. The rewards are available for redemption ever year the Adviser qualifies for the Offshore Convention. The status of the reward is based on the amount of cumulative years the Adviser has qualified for. It is important to note that this is not based on consecutive years. Note: All rewards need to be redeemed by the end of October 2016.

THE REWARDS The reward status is based on a 5-year qualification grouping (1-5, 6-10, etc.). The Adviser is eligible to select from the choice of rewards based on the amount of cumulative years he or she has qualified for as well as any category below his or her current category. THE PROCESS The PFA Channel Head announces the Top 25 qualifiers based on the Trophy Points results, prior to the Offshore Convention. The Marketing Regional Managers (MRMs) are key to the delivery and fulfilment of the process. The MRM will be informed as to who qualifies for which category. The MRM, together with their RGM, will visit each qualifier to present the options and assist the qualifiers to make their selection. The qualifier may select only one benefit per category per calendar year.

The purchasing/organising of the rewards will be made by the National Marketing office, due to cost effectiveness. Please note that in the case of multiple qualifiers per region, it is the MRM’s responsibility to send through the selections together to minimise costs and the handling process where possible. The rewards must be redeemed by the end of the calendar year in which they are awarded. The reward is not transferable. Once the selection has been confirmed, it may not be changed.

All rewards exclude travel costs, this will be for the qualifiers’ own account. Please note: Every effort will be made to deliver the reward selected by the qualifier, subject to regional availability and cost. The addition and removal of benefits are at the discretion of Marketing and the PFA Channel Head. These benefits only apply from 2011 onwards and will not be awarded retrospectively.

An annual allowance of R5 000 inclusive of VAT, will be awarded to the National Top 25 Advisers to be redeemed for stationery and office consumables. We have outlined the rules and process that must be followed to realise this benefit.

STATIONERY BENEFIT / THE RULES

THE RULES The Top 25 stationery allowance is geared to enhance the current reward offering to the National Top 25 Advisers. This benefit, which allows for items to be purchased to the total amount of R5 000, must be exercised in the year of qualification. The award will not be carried over to the next year. The budget resides with the Marketing Division and Regional budget allocation will be managed by the Marketing Regional Manager (MRM).

STATIONERY BENEFIT / THE ORDERING PROCESS

THE ORDERING PROCESS BUSINESS CARDS, LETTERHEADS AND COMPLIMENT SLIPS • The MRM/Marketing Consultant (requester) will log the request on behalf of the Top 25 Adviser via the Point process. • A PDF of the artwork will be created, which needs to be signed off by the requester. • Once approved, an order number will be created and captured. • The regional supplier to deliver samples to requester and/or Point.

PROMOTIONAL ITEMS (Pens, notepads, calendars, diaries, folders, bags, etc.) Items on the Old Mutual Brand Shop website (www.ombrandshop.co.za) may be selected by the Top 25 Adviser. He/she will submit the list of selected items to the MRM/Marketing Consultant with clear instructions for delivery. The MRM/Marketing Consultant will place the order via the OM Brand Shop website on the Adviser’s behalf. The items will then be delivered directly to the Adviser.

OFFICE CONSUMABLES As stated above, office consumables are defined as printers, computers, ink cartridges etc. The Adviser may also purchase the stationery and submit proof of purchase and payment to the MRM/Marketing Consultant for a refund not exceeding R5 000. Please note that payment for items relating to the stationery benefit will be processed by the regional Marketing Consultant; invoices are not captured at Head Office.

• Point will do final brand check in collaboration with Brand Governance. • Stationery to be dispatched to the Regional Office contact person, who will in turn deliver to the Top 25 Adviser.
