The TGO Quilters made 58 Fidget Quilts for Hospice, Joe’s Place, Titusville Methodist Church and the Alura Memory Care in Rockledge. A Fidget quilt is a lap quilt that helps provide stimulation for the hands of Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Autistic people. It soothes their busy hands and stimulates their senses. Shown are some of the ladies who helped make the fidget quilts: Jenny Jones, Martha Henderson, Ann Ducote, Melinda Wright, Deborah Ferraro, Fern DeWinter, Debbie Seale, Nancy Powers, Ann Huber, Judi Sierer, Penne Preble, Carole Homme, Judy Comeau, Marie Creech, Marg Westlake, plus many other quilters not pictured.
