Powder container VF 15 is equipment for powder paint delivery to application device. At the same time it allows recyclation of the powder paint that is over sprayed in the booth. Container is sieving over sprayed powder and ensures a delivery back to application device.

HOOK with groove

Device is designed to regulation and measurement of air pressure inside of the gun. Further it measures a charge in charging pipe. From this value it is possible to estimate a wear of charging parts. It also allows to choose suitable powder paint for electro-kinetic coating. It also allows to check grounding of sprayed subject.

Basic types

branched atomizers

Type P – basic economic pipe, suitable for half closed ragget parts or for parts made of wire.

Branched atomizers apply powder paint in several small streams. Every branch can hold micro orifice with six nozzles. Branched atomizers have soft spray beam.

Type TP – pipe for high performance. Type TC – circulating pipe for lower performance and ragged surfaces. Type TA – basic type for branched pipes.

END Elements

The end elements of application device are diferent kinds of sprayers that are forming and directing charged powder. Simple sprayers are forming only one stream of the powder. Basic sprayer is most commonly used and it has a conic output with output beam angle from 0 to 180°. Types P and U – Non regulated sprayers with flat output beams with direct or angular. The angle of beam from axis is optional in values 30°, 45° and 60°. Width of the beam is subject of request to supplier. The beam position is adjusted by knurled nut.

Typ K mini – branched sprayer with circular arrangement. It is used for automatic and manual spraying. usage »» Corrosion protection – very effective method of corrosion protection, especially large constructional parts (power lines etc.), that can´t be otherwise protected (eg. zinc bath). Usually it is part of the combined coating. »» Decorative purposes – a layer of metal has mainly an aesthetic function, usually imitace another material than whis is the object made off, for example, a bronze statue may have a copper surface.

»» Parts renovation – practical use is for reconstruction or renovation of machine parts. For example you can do recovery of worn out shafts, when by metallization process is on worn out part applied layer of metal (eg. steel), which are then Sander to the required size. »» Functional purposes – special applications, such as thermal protection. A special example of use is application of platinum on temperature sensor into the glass weld pool.

They are often used for improved corrosion protection of bridges, electric poles or other large steel structures.

Thickness: aprox. 80 μm

Technology Multilayered coatings include a layer of thermal sprayed metal (usually zinc) which is further covered by layer of liquid paint. First paint layer is made by low viscosity paint that ensures a paint to infiltrate into pores of metal layer. Second paint layer is made by usual paint viscosity.
