JANUARY 22 - BLIZZARD BLAST-OFF CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT Conover’s all volunteer fire department squad hosts their Annual Cornhole Tournament to benefit the Northwoods Blizzard Blast. Players may join for a donation of $25. Teams formed from random blind draws. Food & beverage available on site. FEBRUARY 19 - NORTHWOODS BLIZZARD BLAST Winter fun for everyone! Cold weather enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides, Giant Ski Races, Recliner Races, Ice Bowling, Slap Shot Hockey, Firefighter Competitions and the Artisan Bazaar. Kids will revel in the Dogsled Dash, Chilly Charlie’s Challenge, Pin the Nose on the Snowman, Ring Toss, Snowman Pong and Mosaic Snow Art. Demonstrations in Archery, Snowshoeing and more will be held throughout the day. Food and refreshments available all day as well as beer at the popular “Snow Bar”.
