House between Green / Tainan, Taiwan Streethouse design in Tainan (3
rd
SEMESTER)
Under the rules of modern urban planning ,Green elements (park ,green spaces, etc.) present a low concentration and a high dispersion state in the city. Trying to introduce a lot of green elements into the house and create a home like a green dot in the city. Unlike the Domino system's slabs, the way to limit vertical interaction, this design was organized with the various body dimensions of living activities and horizontal architectural elements “the board. Let the floor be smashed into the scale of each space in the home, and arranged at different heights. With the different heights of the slab arrangement, the void space in the living space is created, and the green plant is used as the protagonist of the void space. A harmonious environment is formed in which the plant is the medium of residence and the living space is the medium of the plant. 6

Taiwan's traditional street houses are so deep that the front and rear spaces are blocked, and also the floors are blocked, causing obstacles to family life and communication. Design attempts to change this condition with a shredded system.

Quartered library / Nanliao, Hsinchu Community library reconstruction (2
nd
SEMESTER)
A library is a type of building about how people store knowledge and gain knowledge. Rethinking the core values of the library by thinking about how knowledge exists in human civilization and how it is used by human. I use the modern architecture program to illustrate the four core values that I think and attempt to explain the interactions in a spatial way and to illustrate a knowledge system with a building.
Through the space of the folding plate, a variety of vertical changes are created in the space, which creates a dialogue and reference between the core values represented by each layer. Different from the single independent relationship that the horizontal programs were blocked by the floors, four different programs and circulations are all connected and the line of sight are penetrate. In the library, you can feel the Identity of space and concept by recurring folding architectural vocabulary. And the flow of knowledge is reflected in a library. 10

Urban connection trigger / Nanliao,Hsinchu Hsinchu Expo reconstruction (4nd SEMESTER)

This site is located in the original Expo Taiwan Pavilion in the border of the entire North Hsinchu city. Architectural form and its created axis all responds to the past industrial urban context and historical remains in this area. The horizontal series connects the existing historical remains to form the historical corridorsed, while the vertical is tring to create a connection between the city and the border.Flip the edge character of this place and become a node to active the city.
With the existing old Taiwan fertilizer warehouse as the exhibition space for the public, the semi-open interior space serves as an urban corridor, transforming the speed of the highway to the speed and atomphere more suitable for pedestrians. people can easyily come in and watch exhibition or shopping or roaming. Change the state that was originally blocked. The architecture mass of accommodations, start-up companies, and multi-purpose exhibition halls formed by the division of the axis. The bridges are connected to each other to form a longitudinal joint. And the public platform formed on the second floor creates publicity. In the interior space of accommodations, start-up companies, and multi-purpose exhibition halls, we also create publicity by large open spaces and void spaces. 17

Proposal_Urban reconnection / Taipei Highway reuse in self-driving world (5
nd
SEMESTER)
In the era of self-driving technology becoming popular, people move around the city in a very different ways that changes our perception of the city an technology minimizes transportation costs. The change is that people's movement is no longer just a point-to-point and the traffic process in between, between the field and the field. Take Shi Min elevated highway as a demonstration design case. When road usage rate increases, elevated roads becom but dismantling is costly. In this condition, we propose whether there is a possibility of reusing and transforming the elevated high way properties.
26
The design puts a lot of programs on the highway to create a new experience. After not being used as the main traffic, the elevated road can become a fi atmosphere. In addition to the fast and slow quality conversion, based on the mobility convenience of self-driving, the long linear channel connect man programs, and finally they become a whole super-scale composite infrastructure. The futuristic highway of the future city will no longer be its functiona the role of reconnecting the city.
i. The elevated highway is a linear transportation facility in the city that links various destinations, but it is a vacuum feeling when passing through, completely isolated from the city.
ii. Research on the reuse of highways

Place new point and linear programs on the Civic elevated highway in the future.
28
Under the setting of this future self-driving popularity, we will imagine the technology of self-driving cars are extremely advanced, such as V2I, V2V, V2X.... So the road planning and logic based on human-driving will be eliminated. All planning considerations return to the original physical size of the vehicle.
The North Gate Historic Site area next to Taipei Station is the transit area for airport MRT, train transportation and urban MRT. Under the urban planning, the ground floor becomes the main plaza for pedestrians. Placed in a pedestrian bridge connecting the highway to the ground floor, and the axis is used to move the circulation direction toward the monument, allowing people to make visual contact.
The self-driving drive-thru are place near Taipei Station. Drive-thru is an unmanned logistics system, and shopping can be done online or on the shop in the future. The goods in the lower logistics "tray" are transported by vertical elevatar to achieve the purpose of fast pickup.
We hope that this new Highway is an area where people can walk to shuttle .Use the above "INDEX OF ROAD SPACE"study ,We plan the self-driving drive-thru area by physical size of the vehicle and their radius of gyration. The rest space is a drive-thru park that allows pedestrians to roam on it.

In the Huashan Park area, we have placed a complex sports facility. This area has a computer business district, a large green area that is idle, a sports field under the viaduct, and an arts and cultural area. The inserted program has turned the idle green space into a venue for sports parks and civic activities, and can run large-scale sports events and concerts. The hightway connects the fields that were originally separated in the city, allowing people to directly access the building of the 3C department store and the sports field at the ground floor from the highway.
It includes 25m level: 250m linear runway, and passengers drop-off / pick-up area ; 13.5m level: urban lookout platform which can be used as market area for self-driving shops ; 4.5m level: a stand where selfdriving cars are used as boxs to watch the sport game ; ground level: the stage facing Huashan Park and the art district which can be used as Multi-purpose square for sports and lectures and concerts. All levels are connected by pedestrians and self-driving circulations, and maintain the continuity of the urban space in a transparent way, allowing people to pass freely as shown in the section.
The song shan cultural park is the core area of all the exhibitions in Taipei. The highway connects to the taipei new horizon (TNH)building (designed by japanese architect toyo ito) of the park . A new entrance and exit at the height of the highway was created, and set up a self-driving docking station on the highway to support the crowd dredge of the exhibition.
Taipei Railway Workshop which was the largest workshop of Taiwan Railways Administration is separated by the highway from the ground floor of the song shan cultural park. The future urban planning of the Taipei Railway Workshop is a new historical and cultural park, so we set up the activatity space under the highway to form a street vendor market by self-driving cars. Create new media by people's activity between the two parks.

There is no perfect circle in nature. How to draw a circle by hand? First draw a circle and use this as a reference. Then draw a circle and use the traces o As a designer, when facing perfection-seeking, we do not attempt to stop the architectural design in the perfect termination of our own definition, but c process, the understatement of the sketch paper that appeared in the trash, maybe It is the spiritual body of architecture. The results are compared wit the rummaging can be gradually clarified. There is no absolute good in the world. The standards of “good” are constantly floating, and the best solut are changing forever. Therefore, we are constantly pursuing how to be a good person, how to design a good building, and to explore and progress in th better. "I want to be a good person" try to present the behind-the-scenes of the design to the audience, presses a pause on the design process, and use to convey the attempt of the work.
