Once upon a time there lived a ferocious lion in the forest. It was a greedy lion and started killing animals in the forest indiscriminately. Seeing this, the animals gathered and decided to approach the lion with the offer of one animal of each species volunteering to be eaten by the lion everyday. So every day it was the turn of one of the animals and in the end came the rabbits’ turn. The rabbits chose an old rabbit amongst them. The rabbit was wise and old. It took its own sweet time to go to the lion. The lion was getting impatient on not seeing any animal come by and swore to kill all the animals the next day. The rabbit then strode along to the lion by sunset. The lion was angry with him. The wise rabbit was calm and slowly told the lion that it was not his fault. He told the lion that a group of rabbits were coming to him for

the day, when on the way, an angry lion attacked them all and ate all the rabbits but him. Somehow he escaped to reach safely. He said that the other lion was challenging the supremacy of his lordship the lion. The lion was naturally very enraged and asked to be taken to the location of the other lion. The wise rabbit agreed and led the lion towards a deep well filled with water. Then he showed the lion his reflection in the water of the well. The lion was furious and started growling and naturally its image in the water, the other lion, was also equally angry. Then the lion jumped into the water at the other lion to attack it, and so lost his life in the well. Thus the wise rabbit saved the forest and its inhabitants from the proud lion.

They say every dog has its day... well in this case, it's every rabbit! Rabbit show jumping originated in Sweden (and is known as 'kaninhop') and has now spread to other European countries as well. Similar to horse show jumping, all the hurdles are brought down to scale for the rabbits.

Easter is a festival celebrated by Christians to comemorate the ressurection of Jesus Christ. It is a celebration as it marks the end of a period of penance and fasting - known as 'lent'. Easter is celebrated on different dates each year, usually ranging from 21st March to 25th April and is dependent on the full moon. Christians spend Easter at church in prayer and spend time with their loved ones and share a special meal. The Easter bunny has many different origin stories. Some believe that the Easter bunny developed from the German legend of the Easter Hare - who would decide whether or not children had been good or bad and accordingly deserved Easter eggs. Another story became common in the 19th century. As rabbits usually give birth to large litters of babies (called kittens), they became a symbol of life, celebration and fertility. Legend has it that the Easter bunny lays, decorates and hides eggs as a symbol of new life. 4

As the children closed in on the parking area they witnessed lightning strikes at a distance. Eeshan got alarmed and told his friends to run towards the nearest car. Seeing Martin run towards his car Eeshan screamed. Not the convertible! Any hard top car.

The doors of the cars parked inside the estate generally remained unlocked so they could be moved easily, when necessary. Lightning struck and the children were saved because they were inside the car. No one spoke out of shock till the rain stopped pelting.

When lightning strikes an automobile, it’s actually the car’s metal exterior frame that protects the passengers, acting as a conductor and passing the electrical current right along to the ground. This is the reason that a convertible can’t protect you like a hardtop vehicle.

Who invented the camera? Today, when you snap a picture on your phone or camera and have it instantly available to view, it's hard to believe that hundreds of years of experimenting have gone by just to get you here. Photography was not invented by a singular person. Between the 11th and 16th centuries, the "camera obscura" was developed and became common. This allowed the user to show an image on a piece of paper while the artist traced it and this technique was used by famous painters throughout history to make their paintings realistic. But is didn't really take a picture. In 1568, Danielle Barbara fitted a lens on the camera obscura which allowed sharper images. In 1802 two scientists, Thomas Wedgwood and
Humphrey Davy recorded images of paintings for the first time on special contact paper but were never able to make it permanent. Finally in 1835, William Talbot made the first positive image from negatives and made the first permanent images. The first modern cameras were nothing like what we see today. They were large and clunky and a lot used silver plates which were sensitive to light. The invention of these fall on the shoulders of a Frenchman named Louis Daguerre in 1837. Finally in 1888 the first box camera was put on the market, and slowly over the years the shape and form began to evolve.
I was walking home from the park one afternoon, when I spotted a group of young boys laughing and teasing a small animal near my house. When I got close, I realized it was a small rabbit they had found. It looked distressed and clearly belonged to someone. I pushed them out of the way and scooped it up into my arms and rushed home...
