The urban living space has been shrinking, especially condominiums where the starting space can be as small as 20 square meters, so every square inch must be most efficiently used. This is particularly true for families with kids as there are more occupants, which leads to a problem with bathroom, one of the important spaces of a home. Urban bathrooms normally can be used by one person at a time while also having bad air ventilation and can make the occupant feel stuffy when used for a prolonged period of time.
TO / IL / ET is then designed to resolve those issues: by dividing the space to be occupiable by 3 people at once! Help save time in rush hours, designed to receive natural light and for good ventilation, while also capable of turning into a relaxing space in tiresome days.
TO / IL / ET is not just a bathroom decoration, but is a bathroom designed from scratch to be an answer to condominium living, with bathroom design and shape that allows ventilation and natural light in a 1.90x2.90 m bathroom with one wall connected to the studio room’s balcony.
TO / IL / ET divides the usable space into 3 areas: basin / toilet / shower, which can essentially be separated into 3 spaces with built-in corrugated glass panes, all usable at the same time, eliminating the problem of rush hour bathroom battle royale.
The in corrugated glass panes also provide privacy for occupants doing different things while also letting some light through, giving comfort.
