This project is a proposal for a railroad terminal station connecting Tokyo and Kawagoe, located in Kawagoe, a traditional city that has flourished since modern times. The station is used by citizens for commuting to and from work, as well as by the many tourists visiting Kawagoe from outside. It is an important architecture that connects the people who come to learn about the history of Kawagoe with the people who live in the city today. This station creates a New Cityscape by overlapping the activities of people visiting from outside and people living in the area. The scape shows a new way of traditional street scape in Kawagoe.

The large roof creates one landscape of the activities of visitors and people living here. In addition, the large windows and exterior spaces vertically along the longitudinal direction create a layered scene of various activities under the roof to the city on the other side of the station.

New Amsterdam is generated by Overlapping Bicycles and Boats. Bicycles and boats are the two main forms of transportation in Amsterdam. These two modes of transportation, which are the city's circulation, have been nurtured throughout Amsterdam's history and have become a part of the city's everyday landscape, getting a universality as the city's transportation system. However They function independently of each other and do not interfere with each other. We thought their coexistence in a scenery makes the specificity of Amsterdam clear. We would like to propose a bridge that unites these two, which have never been overlapped, in the dimension of "scale", so that the specificity of Amsterdam can be expressed as a landscape and experience. The simple form was created by combining a scale of rational values. For example: the height for container ships, the slope for bicycles, the width of the river for free traffic, and the distance between them. With this form, the landscape of bicycles "running alongside" boats on the IJ River will reflect the specificity of Amsterdam, where two universal forms of transportation coexist in a river scenery.

Welfare facilities are places of living where support is provided. However, welfare facilities have become a place that emphasizes the "incomplete parts" of the people who live there, and I feel that this label has led to making welfare facilities a closed architecture. This is because behind the emphasized aspects, the "various faces" of a single person are hidden, and it is impossible to know the diversity of these faces. In order for these welfare facilities, which have been kept away from our daily lives, to live their daily lives together in the city, I propose a place to live that has "Niwa," a place where the various faces hidden behind the label can appear.

It doesn't create a relationship
A place that connects people through various faces
One-way relationships
"Niwa" has two aspects: "a place that changes as it is tended" and "A place where you can develop relationships with people based on what you like.". The people who live here will be able to add garden their own touches, and their preferences will appear in the town through the Niwa, and this will lead to a lifestyle that involves with a variety of people in the town.
E.g. someone puts favorite books in Niwa.
His "bookish side" turned it into a "Niwa of books.
Become a place where book lovers come together
"The sun shining" " The cozy" " The spacious" " The small" "The roofed" ...etc Each of them has a different potential. And now, as the living space between them is illuminated and dyed by the color of the Niwa, it becomes a daily life where we can choose our favorite place to live, independent of its function.
Niwa connects their lives and the lives of the city with their respective environments
