What story do your jeans tell? Whether they’ve been worn in over 30 years or you gave
KNEEHOLE To get a kneehole that looks like it’s been gradually worn through, first measure exactly where the hole will be by running a tape measure down the inseam starting from the rise to 11 1/2 inches down (this will be the center of the hole). Lightly mark the measure point with chalk. Anchor the pant legs down with bricks or something heavy, so the material is taught and won’t get caught in the dremel. Slowly eat away at the top layer of the denim (also called the “warp”) until the while yarns underneath (called the “weft”) start showing through. Try tea staining the weft threads so that they have that worn in vintage feel. TIP: WASHING AND DRYING THE JEANS AFTER THIS PROCESS WILL CLEAN AWAY THE DENIM FUZZ THAT SITS ON TOP AND THE HOLE WILL LOOK MORE CLEAN AND WORN IN.

I wanted to offset the glimmery metallic jeans with something preppy, so I went for a nautical striped t-shirt (the likes of which I stockpile!). I also threw on a studded blazer. I like how it edgy-fies the jeans. TELL US ABOUT YOUR ACCESSORIES AND WHY YOU CHOSE THEM? I love the thick ankle strap and leopard print heels on these sandals. They’re what I’d consider quiet statement heels!

I wanted to make the jeans stand out and this chartreuse blouse definitely complements the color and print of the jeans. The strappy heels help me go from day-to-night! TELL US ABOUT YOUR ACCESSORIES AND WHY YOU CHOSE THEM? I kept the accessories to a minimum because I wanted the blouse and jeans to be the focus. My dainty necklace was the perfect touch because it gave my neck some pretty bling.

I kept jewelry to a minimum, but threw on a sexy pair of snakeskin sling backs and a traditional quilted purse. A red lip is always the perfect finishing touch.
