The great thing about our small size is we are able to provide a fast turnaround time with our products as we aren’t booked up for months. If you need your design finished by a certain date chances are we can get it done on time.
Unlike other businesses, our small-scale company also allows us to provide one on one service with the customer throughout the whole process, which is very important because it ensures both us and the customer that no miscommunication or confusion can be made. From the initial planning, to the final design, we will communicate with the customer to make sure they are 100% happy with the final design. It is important for us to provide one on one service with our customers because we will be able to understand what the client really wants and that they come out satisfied after using our services.
At LIG Design we offer a very unique feature as we are able to translate your work from English to Chinese or vice versa. This could be extremely beneficial to your company if you are looking to promote your work to a Chinese business. If your company is looking at doing work with a Chinese business, whether they are located in New Zealand or China we can help you with professional promoting and advertising so that you are able to display your product to them the best that you can.
Unlike most graphic design companies who only cater for businesses seeking graphic design work, we divide our services and attention equally between Business and Personal clients. Sometimes our personal services allow us to be our most creative, and as most of them are designed as special gifts it’s a very rewarding experience!

General terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all graphic design work that is undertaken by LIG Design. “We” or “us” is referring to LIG Design “They” or “you” is referring to the customer. These terms and conditions apply in addition to any other terms agreed to by the customer and LIG Design.
1. PRICE 1.1 If no price agreed to is stated in writing, the product shall be sold at the current price the product is sold by LIG Design at the time the product is sold. 1.2 The price of the supply of products provided by LIG Design may increase to a reasonable price that is out of LIG Designs control between the date of the contract and the delivery of the goods. 1.3 Additional costs for any extra services over and above the quote will be written in the final invoice. 2. PAYMENT 2.1 The first payment of 50% must be paid before the first draft can be revealed 2.2 The second payment of 50% must be paid before the final design/ product is delivered. 2.3 All payments under a total of $200 must be paid full, in one payment. 2.4 An extra rate may occur if payments have not been received by the due date.

QUOTES/ ESTIMATES
3.1 At the time of proposal, LIG Design will provide the client with a quotation. The quotation is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. The client may send an email in reply to the quote which binds the client to accept LIG Design’s terms and conditions. No work on a project will commence until this has been received. 3.2 Any quotations given by LIG Design are exclusive to Goods and Services Tax unless otherwise stated in the contract. 3.3 Where the GST is required in addition to the quote that LIG provided to the customer, the customer agrees to pay the additional cost. 4. OWNERSHIP 4.1 Copyright ownership for all work, finished or otherwise, is retained by LIG Design including words, pictures, ideas, visuals and illustrations. 4.2 Once the customer has paid in full the customer has the right to use their design/ product in all media useful for their business promotion. 4.3 LIG has the right to display your new design/ product along with your full name, business name and website address for testimonial purposes, on our website and any printed advertising. 4.4 It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that material provided to LIG Design, including any text, logos and/or images are not subject to copyright. The ownership of such materials will remain with the client, or the rightful copyright or trademark owner. LIG Design takes no responsibility for issues arising due to using supplied material if it is found to be copyright to a third person or party. 4.5 All design work where there is a risk that another party makes a claim, should be registered by the client with the appropriate authorities prior to publishing and legal advice sought as to its used. LIG Design will not be held responsible for any damages resulting from such claims. 4.6 LIG Design agrees to hold confidential information or trade secrets in trust and confidence and shall not be used for any other purpose, or disclosed to any third party. 5. TERMINATION 5.1 If the customer breaches any of these terms and conditions or any contract, LIG Design has the right to terminate that contract. 6.
EFFECT OF TERMINATION
6.1 If the contract is terminated by you or us, that contract will terminate and the following will apply: • In the event of termination LIG Design owns the design/ product created and has the right to complete, exhibit and/ or sell the design/ product (but not the customers’ business name) if they choose. • The customer must pay us any unpaid fees that were owed before the termination of the contract.
