自 幼 時 就 對 台 灣 廟 宇 文 化 有 所 興 趣，因 為 這 份 情 愫，所 以 每 當 廟 會 有
慶 典 時，我 便 試 著 在 當 中 尋 找 表 達 出 自 我 的 情 感，在 一 次 廟 會 中，我 看 到 了 八 家 將，那 與 神 明 傳 達 訊 息 的 眼 神，不 管 別 人 的 眼 光，跳 舞 時 透 露 出 無 比 的 將 氣 與 信 心，全 神 貫 注 的 與 神 明 傳 達 訊 息。八 家 將 是 台 灣 廟
會 慶 典 的 獨 特 文 化，因 感 受 到 那 將 氣 十 足 的 霸 氣，及 眼 神 堅 定 的 神 情， 我 執 力 去 了 解 八 家 將 的 緣 由 與 每 個 臉 譜 的 含 意，每 個 刑 具 每 個 步 伐 每 個 官 位 的 名 稱 等 等，試 著 用 我 的 筆 讓 觀 者 看 見 這 台 灣 獨 特 之 美。
