1 Pavilion Clear and Vague Project : Temporary Pavilion Location : Taiwan National Museum of Fine Art Program : Lectures / Cafe / small Exibition / Secondary information center A temporary pavilion design located at the National Museum of Fine Art. The pavilion is designed for a installation of a movie exhibition in the museum. After a realistic historic scene is being represent by different directors, the movie becomes subjective, and the objectiveness of the history will not be successfully passed on to the audiences. In conclusion, “The person on the spot is clear, the onlooker is baffled.”
The Objective of the design is to have people experience the process of clear and vague visually, and intermediary the louver. The features of louver is (1) A progress in clearness and vague (2) Interiorusage is unclear when seen on the outside (3) People’s sight can be controlled by the diection of the louver. Make the louver as an interface of the entrance to reach my goal.

2 Multifunction Eucation Hall Project : Education Hall Location : Banqiao City, Taipei, Taiwan Program : Exhibition/ Small Museum /OďŹƒce / Conference Room The city of Banqiao, is one of the big cities near the Taipei, the location of the design includes a very busy metro station and bus stops. It is also a place for people to come during the weekends and after work. The project is now in a processing of building a new education hall for the city, aiming to renew the city and give people a place to relax for a while in this busy city.
The site consists of both modern buildings and traditional houses. Surrounding block have artificial green area for people to take a rest, but in reality, little people spend time around the area. Therefore, focusing on having my design to be the major place for peope to take a break by creating green spaces. These green spaces can be seen within one another, and be connected visually instead of taking a break lonely and nothing to do. In order to achieve my goal, I twisted the mass of my design layer by layer. The thought of the elevation is by placing unequal portion of window to emphasize the layer, and the twist.

3 Sport Center and Mall Project : Education Hall Location : Banqiao City, Taipei, Taiwan Program : Exhibition/ Small Museum /OďŹƒce / Conference Room From Urban Analysis to a project. Urban planning possibilities of Taichung. The possibilities then was placed into Tunhai University and then minimize into a project. In total, there are three phases of the project.
Residential
Industry
Tourism
Education
(1) Due to Taichung’s history development, transportation, urban texture, networks, and etc. Taichung city has the potential of being an urban sharing system, sharing dierent information and sources within the city.
(2) Start taking the urban sharing system concept into the site, Tunhai University (THU). Under the concept, THU, as a education organization, we conclude that industry, education, tourism, and residential have the most potential to be transformed. I took part in the sports center at the entrance of the University. It porvides not only the students but also the citizens and perhaps some patients for there is a hospital at across the street.

(3) Begin designing. In order to connect hospital and university, the commercial activity is being put to underground for the safety of people. Commerical program tend to attract people to come to the sports center to excercise. As for the inside of the Unversity, the sports center is easily accessible and and be seen.
4 Resident Hillside Residence Project : Resident Housing Location : Hillside of Shingchu City Program : Dancing studio / Bedrooms / Kichen / Dining room/ Recovery room
Learning to use new techinique of CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber). The family set up is random, the project is to know the construction of CLT and to apply it on a mountain side, learning how the architecture itself can interct with the hillside.

5 Dihua Street Arcade Reconstruct Give and take Project : Resident Housing Location : Dihua Street, Taipei Program : Multiusage
Early in Taiwan, business activities took place in the arcade of the building along the street. It became a continuous pedestrian walkway. Nowadays, residents and garages start to replace the activities and the arcade becomes more of a private space rather than a public place for the pedestrians. Therefore, the private space which is suppose to be within the street house is now invading to the arcade which is to be used as a pedestrian way or a place for people to gather and have interaction between people. By adjusting the scale of the arcade, to make the most eďŹƒcient use of every arcade. By the method of giving out one private space in order to take a public space, it is necessary to return the public space to the people.
Current
Street house types
Vacant house
First of all, by adjusting the scale of the arcade and the other variable is the surrounding space we can use. Under the permutation of these two conditions, I sort out the possibilities for the pattern of the space exchange scheme. Of course, these prototypes all need another ďŹ nal adjustment when apply into the site. Beside the potential of changing just in the plan level for the resident, business and distributers, there are also potential of exchanging space on the section side of the building. Therefore, more variety of walking space will be given to the people.

After the principle is laid out, it is then put in to the site, and begin the exchange process on the old context. In order to prevent conflict on the property right, the insert of the activity and the hold of the arcade is only temporary. Next is to insert the space for back alley and the program in the vacancy house. For example, green space, small book shops and etc. Adjusting both the access of first and second floor to increase the chance of crossing from one side to another and also to retain the continuous walk way for the pedestrins.

6 Second Space From Dance to Body and Space Project : Thesis Design Location : Tunhai University Program : Installation Before the existing of language, the way people communicate is by body movements. However the movement began to appear in rituals and fesitivals later on, they then were put into system and were being organized. The movements became a series of action and behavior, until now, these actions were put into performance and become the dance were know today. Dance has separated from our daily lives, we don’t use it to recognize our surrounding or to learn. we tend to think that dance is very artistic and hard to understand. Therefore, I think body and dance should be a reaction to the surrounding, we use our body to feel the surroundings to create space and moreover to transfer message.

Urban Rennovation will took place in the campus of UNSW Kensington in 2020. the project aim is to start with a small scale of urban planning and ďŹ nd a way to analysis lots of context in a urban design process. Further more, under dicussion, we try to understand what might be the better after 2020 and what might happen in the year of 2050. Under the discription, we use a way we think it might be the clearest way for people to understand and to carry the plan out.

9 Urban Planning Tokyo Shinjuku Station Surroundings
Issue - Bad accessibility towards any destination:
Project : urban Planning Location : Tokyo Shinjuku Station
Tokyo Shinjuku, located on the west side of the Tokyo metropolitan district, is one of the most importand transportation hub in Tokyo, lots of subway lines and bus routes make it very busy. It is the most flourished economic zone in Tokyo which includes lots of major companies and adminitrative activities. On the other hand famous tranditional commerical activity have also survived a very long time and it is still well known to the world, the Kabuki-cho. Site Population: 303,808 Night time / 770,094 Day time Site FAR: 900 % Site Area: 0.9 ha
People tend to lost track of where they are going after lots of turning and walking, so the process can be very dull and confusing. - Lacks of public green space: More green space is needed to serve the people for a break time, and more planting may reduce the wind to cause effect on people.
- Building use- Housing, Office, Markets: Large portion of office and consuming buildings, living quality is very cramped.
-Bad accessibility towards any destination -An atrium space plaza -Sunlight goes directly to the underground street, light up the commercial place -People from both the ground level and underground level can see each other -Underground area will not be so separated from the ground level area
-Lacks of public green space -Adjust building size in a block -Let out more green space to the public -Combine with the third strategy to give out more green space
-Building use- Housing, Office, Markets -Multiple use of the building -Residencial area move to the highest spot, so that by the time people are off from work, the gap between can form an obstruct from the commercial area. -Bike Lane can serves as a inner network to commute between work and home.
