“ THE DEVELOPMENT OF

AND LEVITATED VISIO 在地深根、放眼國際的發展願景 在台灣既有兩兆雙星及資通訊產業的基礎上,並因應未來節能減碳、人口老化、創意經濟興起等世界趨勢,政府選定生物科技 、綠色能源、精 緻農業、觀光旅遊、醫療照護及文化創意等六大新興產業(生物科技、 綠色能源、精緻農業、觀光旅遊、醫 療照護、文化創意),其中電視、電影、流行音樂、數位內容、設計及工藝更為文化創意六大旗艦產業。地處台南、高雄,更是 文化創意產業及數位內容產業發展的重鎮,從多元化、國際化、關鍵技術取得等面向,由中央到地方政府帶頭投入更多 資源,並 輔導及吸引國際企業及民間企業投資,以擴大產業規模、提升產值及提高附加價值。

由文建會(現改為文化部)所主導的五大文化創意產業園區(台北、台中、花蓮、嘉義、台南)意圖結合城市發展軸線概念,以文 化創意產業 帶動產業串連進而達到文化創意產業與各地方整體發展、培育人才與藝 企結合之全面提升。文化部將台南文化園 區以「創意生活產業」為核 心,以「臺灣創意生活產業發展中心」為執行定位,扣合台南豐厚的歷史文化資產與城市文明(如安 平老街文創、海安路藝術特區、老屋欣力)。

高雄早期從重工業發展到後工業,近年開始利用優勢的海空雙港及區位 條件,積極轉型致力發展亞太地區資訊軟體、數位影音 、電腦通訊等產業,並結合加工出口區、南部科學園區等產業基礎,完善區域交通運輸設 施,以達成高雄成為「亞太運籌中心」 之願景。為推動高雄成為「亞太運 籌中心」,以高雄市內 587 公頃之土地,規劃為多功能經貿園區,並於特 定倉儲轉運專區內 設置「高雄軟體科技園區」,積極對外招商如遊戲產業 的樂陞科技、智崴資訊、高傑數位科技、鴻海雲端中心 ... 與台北南 港軟體 園區南北呼應。

另一「駁二藝術特區」近年更積極向海外招商,目前國際知名廠商如日本 Snoy 電腦娛樂、日本小學堂、紐西蘭 huhu studios 、美國 R&H Studios、 以及兔將視覺特效都已經進駐,企圖打造動漫產業基地,每年需求 200- 300 位專業人才。本系位於兩 個重大文創產業及動漫產業發展重鎮,以地 源之利,當應積極配合國家新興重點產業發展,培育文化創意產業、數位 內容及動 漫產業之專業人才、向國際進軍。

To cope with the trend of energy conservation and carbon reduction, population aging as well as

creative economy in the whole world, our government proposed six emerging industries, that is, bio-technology, green energy, quality agriculture, tourism, health care and cultural creative industry based on "Two Trillion, Twin Star" and ICT industry in Taiwan. And thereare six categories under the cultural creative industry: television, motion pictures, pop music, digital content, and design and craft. With our university located in Tainan City and close to Kaoshiung City, we are the importance of developing both cultural creative and digital content industries. We

brought about more resources from central to local governments by the aspects of diversity, internationality and key technology acquisition. We also attract the attention of foreign companies and private enterprises for investment to expand the business scale, raise employment levels and the additional value.The five Cultural Creative Park (Taipei, Taichung, Hualien, Chiayi and Tainan) that proposed by the Ministry of Culture attempt to using the concept of urban axis to make all those cultural creative industry connect together, in order to achieve the development goals and raise the efficiency of training and art with entrepreneurs altogether.

The Ministry of Culture make Tainan Cultural Park as the core of "Creative Life Industry" and the implementing position of "Creative Life Industry Development Centor in Taiwan," connect with its rich history background and city civilization (i.e. cultural creative industry in An Pin old street, art district of Hai-an Road and Old House, New Life).

Kaoshung from heavy iundustry development entered the stage of post-industry in the early days, and start to use the advantage of "sea and air port" and "location condition" transform into developing information technology in the region of Asia and Pacific, digital multimedia and computer communication industry recently. Based on the combination of export processing zone and Southern Taiwan Science Park, the complete area transportation facilities, Kaushung has become the Asia-Pacific Logistic Centor. In order to promote Kaoshiung as the Asia-Pacific Logistic Centor, the government planned 587 hectares of land in Kaoxhiung City as a Multi-functional

Commerce & Trade Park and set a Kaoshiung Software Technology Park in a specific Logistics Trans-shipping Zone. The government attract foreign investment which work in concert with Nankang Software Park in Taipei, such as XPEC Entertainment, Brogent Thchnologies, Shengjie Digital Science Technologies Company and Cloud-based Technology Center in the computer game industry, etc. Also, the Pier-2 Art District in Kaoshiung has actively invited investment in business overseas in the recent years. Some well- known international brand such as Sony Computer Entertainment, Japanese Small School, Huhu studios in New Zeland and R&H Studios in America and The White Rabbit Entertainment joined us nowadays. They attempt to build a base of animation and comic industry which needs 200 to 300 professionals each year. Our department located at two significant cutural creative industry and animition and comic industry importance. Due to the advantage of site, we are supposed to cooperate actively with national development of the new industry, developing cutural creative industry, digital content and animation and comic professionals.

兩年舉辦一次國際研討會開拓學生國際視野 視覺傳達設計的發展與國家整體設計創意產業發展或國家形 象的競爭力有是一體兩面的,有良好的設計環境才能引導出 良好的居住空間,放眼國際間的幾個高度開發的國家,可以 說在設計的發展上亦是領先全球的。因此本系將以如何提升 設計領域的國際合作進而達到具國際競爭力為目的進行一系 列之國際研討會規劃,藉由視覺設計的革新與創意發展的角 度進行提升大學競爭力,整合與國際之間學術輸出與輸入的 交互影響,以期能真正在相互交流後為國內設計教育的發展 盡一份心力。從1999年開始,採每兩年舉辦一次國際研討會, 並聘請國內、外專家與學者,就設定的議題及內容研討,提 供一個更多元化、更具國際觀的學習與創意思考的研討,期 許培養出具有國際觀與全球概念的設計人才。

Broaden student's horizon by curating international Conference biannually. There is a closed relationship between the development of visual communication design and of domestic design creative industry or our national competitiveness, but can be expain in two other ways. A good design environment can lead to a better living space. We can see several developed country have a good design development worldwide. As a result, our department is going to have a series of international conference program in order to achieve international competition by increasing international cooperation in design field. Hope can make a promotion in the natinal education design throuth the real interaction about comform the influence of acdemic input and output. We hold the international conference once every two years, and invite domestic and foreign experts and professors make a international and creative discussion by the tissue and content since 1999. Hope we can make some international design people.

打造動漫產業孵化基地積極業培育專業人才 近年本系在國際與國內的動畫競賽成績亮眼,博得各動畫產業 的青睞,2010 年 5 月與西基動畫簽訂南部人才培育中心,,以 本系為中心,作為動畫人才的師資及文才培育中心。2011 年 5 月與日本小學堂簽訂在台灣創意研發產學合作夥伴學校。2011 年 8 月與紐西蘭 huhu 動畫公司簽訂在台灣創意研發產學合作 夥伴學校。2011 年 10 月與日本第一大 CG 動畫台灣公司集拓 聖域(Digital Frontier Taiwan Inc)簽訂在台灣創意研發產學 合作夥伴學校。並積極與高雄軟體園區結合聯盟成夥伴發展學 校,進一步於 2013 年 1 月與智 崴資訊簽署產學合作意向書。 研發教材協助各廠商教育訓練中心及 培訓動漫人才,共同開創 國家新興文化創意產業的未來。

Our department have a great grade in both domestic and international animation competition, and attract attention of many animation industry. In May, 2010, we cooperate with CG Animation as the sothern animation training center. In May, 2011, we signed a contract with Japanese small school as the design developing industry-academy cooperation sister school. In august, 2011, we signed a contract with huhu animation as the design developing industry-academy cooperation sister school. In October, 2011, we signed a contract with Digital Frontier Taiwan Inc as the design developing industry-academy cooperation sister school. We also consociate actively withKaushiung software park as developing school. And in January, 2013, we signed a contract with Brogent Technologies. We develop material and offer helps to various training centor for taining animation professional and create the future of new cuture and creative industry in the country.

光構實驗室 為國內最大、設備最齊全,以光媒材為研究主 題的實驗室,注重跨領域整合科。

技能力,充分發揮理論研究與實務設計結合之功能。光構成實驗室 由基礎造形的角度為出發點,深入探討光的特性、光的應用,拓展 新的設計思考與設計領域,加以應用開發為重點;並強調光造形之 理論基礎與創意能力,著重媒材開發與實驗精神,並進一步拓展光 構成的設計實務與運用。2005 年 — 2009 年間與日本岡山縣立大學 及日本 LECIP 株式會社進行學術交流與國際產學合作;並受邀參加 日本愛知世界博覽會閉幕式 LED 燈光秀。實驗室硬體以教學、研究 共生形式為主,使研究者在實驗後所得之結果,能迅速建檔並進行 資料處理,並以研究成果輔助課程教學。並希望透過造形實驗,將 新素材充分發揮,近期也將利用新素材的造形開發,結合運動構成 的四度空間表現,是本實驗室積極進行研究的重點之一。

Light Construction Laboratory It is the largest, most established laboratory of its kind in the country dedicated to the study of lighting materials. In this laboratory, we lay stress on the ability of cross-cutting technology integration and are able to give full play to combine theory and cases.

We discuss the photometric characteristics and application in detail begins with basic model of angle for expanding a new thinking and design field by focusing on application development. We empasized the basic theory of light shape and creative ability, with the help of media materials and experimental spirit, expaning the design application of light construction. We carry on academic exchange and industry cooperation with Okayama Prefectural University and Japan LECIP Corporation from 2005 to 2009, and was invited to the Expo 2005 Aichi closing ceremony for LED lighting show. Our facilities combine with teaching and research for rapidly records development and data processing. All the results can be used as the teaching materials as well. We hope we can make the new materials useful through the modeling experiment. We will use the new element to develop model tthat combine the four-dimensional space and sporting. That is one of the focus in this laboratory.

平面媒體設計研究室 平面媒體研究室成立之主旨為 培育平面設計專業人才。

以業界實際設計案例作為實體教材,讓學生在學校亦能接觸瞭解業界的實際操作模式和流程,除了培育平面媒體專業人才之外,研究室也著重在 實務經驗的產出、視覺規劃設計、創意商品開發、品牌策略行銷等,透過產學合作,以業界比稿模式讓學生互相學習角逐,培養學生對於設計的 敏感度及創作能力。目前平面媒體研究室已產出了多項設計創作,這些創作也在國際間的設計比賽中有著亮眼的成績,藉由這些累積的能量,讓 外界看到學生具有業界設計的產值水準及應有的設計水平。

We use the real case in the field of design as our materials, make our students understand the practical mode and procedure in school. Except for training professionals of grapic design, we focus on the outcome of real experience, visual planning design, development of creative product and brand strategic marketing, etc. we make our students learn of competition by using the competitive presentation and tain their sensitivities about design and creative abilities.The Graphic Design Lab has several design nowadays. Those work got a great grade in the International Design Competitions. We can make people in outfield see our students' design level by those work.

知覺應用實驗室 知覺在設計中的應用為本實驗室的研發重點, 藉由教學與實務研究共構研究網。

知覺除了五感知覺外,亦包含體覺、境覺、動覺與統覺,本實驗室以前述知覺內容為基礎,發展應用設計之研究,以人因、設計意象、認知學習 內容之開發為研究重點,並利用腦波以及視覺搜尋機制,朝增強認知學習內容類、情緒治療類、休閒娛樂產業相關產品之研發方向邁進:期能改 善人們的生活,創造一個更適合人們生活的人性化環境。

Cognition includes not only five senses, but body sensation, surrounding sensation, kinesthetic sense and Apperception. In this laboratory, based on the cognitions above, we study on development of application design and focus on human factors, design style and development of conition learning content. We also use brain wave and visul search to make our student's increase products of learning, emotion therapy and entertainment. And hope it can improve our lives and build an appropriate humanlized environment.

動漫實驗室 動漫實驗室成立最主要目的是希望藉由實驗室 的軟硬體設備將各種動畫類型整合在一起,讓 每部動畫不只是單純的傳統動畫或數位動畫。

藉由各種動畫媒材的混合應用將視覺推向更新的新奇感受與震撼,因此本實驗室將陸續引進最新設備並搭配相關課程與師資,開拓學生的創意思 維並精進學生的技術應用,以期完成出眾的動畫作品。提升國際知名度一直是崑山視覺傳達系的教學目標之一,歷年來本系學生在國際影展上不 斷地發光發熱便是有力的証明,例如:德國柏林短片影展、日本東京短片影展、台灣國際學生創意設計大賽和亞洲青年動漫大賽等等比賽項目皆 有傲人的成績表現出現,而動漫實驗室的成立更有推波助瀾的效益。有了動漫實驗室完整的設備,學生在動畫製作上將更加便利,相對地效能也 更能明顯提升,如此在國際動畫舞台上,崑山視覺傳達設計系將有更出色亮眼的表現呈現在國人眼前。

The main purpose of this laboratory is to conform various types of animation using its software and hardware facilities which make each animation not just a traditional or digital animation.In this laboratory, we have a unique and shocked visual feeling by the application of many different animation media. Therefore, we will keep recommend the newest facility and go together with related course and our teachers, to expand students' creative thinking and improve their technology application for an outstanding animation work. Raising international publicity is always one of the educational purpose in our department. It can be proved by our students' hardworking on International Film Festival years and years, such as International Short Film Festival Berlin, Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, Taiwan International Design Competition and Asian Youth Animation&Comics Contest, etc. The establishment of Animation Production Studio add fuel to the flame as well. By the complete facility in this laboratory, students make their animation mre conviniently and the efficiency increased more evidently.

體學院的實驗室,成立之主要目的為積極將科技媒體發展與設計實務應用進行合,為能有效的發展立體影像於設計發展上的應用,本實驗室更與德 國媒體藝術學院、英國 De Montfort大學、荷蘭全像實驗室與韓國全像中心等進行交流合作,以隨時掌握國際上立體影像發展之最新動向與趨勢。

Annual school laboratory that use laser hologram and three dimensional Iimage media development. The principal aim at comebining actively the development of media technology and the appilcation of design for applying three dimensional images in design development efficiently. The laboratory also has the interactive cooperation with Kunsthochschule für Medien in Germany, De Montfor university in U.K., hologram labotorary in Netherlands and hologram center in Korea, so that we can know the newest move and trend of international development of three dimensional at any time.
