WORKSHOP
BEST PROJECT WORKSHOP 02
The project is located at the intersection of Huerfanos st and Ahumada st, the two most important pedestrian avenues in Santiago of Chile.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Library + Commercial Gallery: The project seeks to establish a new tra c that is in contrast to the existing pedestrian density in the area, generating a new route as a commercial / cultural space, nonexistent in a place as busy as this.
This milestone would be underground, connecting this transit with existing commercial galleries + the train station.
PROJECT WORKSHOP 08
The project is located in the Republica neighborhood in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, one of the places with the highest density and lowest public spaces.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Urban Sesc: Serviço Social do Comércio, also known by the acronym SESC, is a Brazilian non-pro t private institution, kept by businessmen in the trade of goods, services and tourism. The project integrates a place with these charac teristics in the middle of the city, which has the challenge of presenting various activities, both sports and health, for people. It will work with two buildings, one main with all programs and another service with stairs/elevators and bath rooms/dressing rooms.
HERITAGE REHABILITATION IN LOTA, CHILE.
The project is located in Lota, VIII Region of Chile. Town that has the largest number of heritage buildings in the country.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this project was to work with the heritage elements of Lota. In this case I chose the TEATRO DE LOS MINEROS, a theater for the coal mine workers. The objective was to rescue the maximum of the original build ing. After analyzing its structure, that the most salvageable was the building's crust. The interior was completely intervened by changing its use to a digital library, adapting it to the new times and generating a new permeable core with a new materiality and modern material: steel.
ARCHITECT DEGREE WITH TWO VOTES OF DISTINCTION
NEW WAYS TO HABIT THE HISTORICAL CENTER BOULEVAR URBANO IN SANTIAGO, CHILE
The project is located in Yungay neighborhood, Santiago of Chile. One of the oldest and poorest neighborhoods in Santiago but with tremendous potential.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this project is to make people live again in the center of Santiago. Throughout history, people left the center to inhabit the periphery of the city, leaving it practically abandoned. This exam looks for a new way to build in the city, solving urban problems by the neighborhood equipment and generating a way of living in a modern area of the city, mixing modern elements with the heritage we want to respect.

This is a casual video game with 3D graphics, developed with Unreal Engine 4. Although this soft ware is usually used for PC projects development, Super Mega Stellar is available for mobile devices, a ording it a wider audience and being able to provide entertainment to a bigger mass of people.
The level of complexity increases as the game progresses. In the rst group of levels, you will got through a tutorial, learning how to move and manipulate the game's space, while at more advanced levels, more characters, obstacles and mechanics are presented. For example, at the beginning the solar rings have two states (on / o ) and later they have four states, and can simultaneously modify four paths to guide Paige to nd Spokki.
In this Company I have worked in the illustration, design of characters, ships, levels. The levels were created in Autodesk Revit and then we work with them in Maya and Unreal Engine.

10 level Casual Puzzle game developed in Unreal Engine 4. In this adventure, our protagonist must travel this sci- world in search of her dog companion Spokki. In order to do this, the player must manipulate the space and trails around her through translation, extrusion and rotation.
After Paige was granted the solar rings powers, becoming the Keeper of Light, she travels through a sci- world under her control. She transforms space and conquers all the obstacles that are presented to prevent the evil Ize from stealing the suns of Mega Stellar city. If Paige fails, Ize will cause the total darkness of the world they inhabit.

RETAIL ARCHITECTURE
During his long experience, ABWB has been the protagonist and witness of the architectural history of Chile and the world. Thus, his works have been executed mainly throughout the country, but also in Bolivia, Paraguay, Spain, the United States, Peru and Colombia. I work in many projects with ABWB architects, all of them linked to retail. But the one that worked the most was this: VIVO OUTLET ROJAS MAGALLANES.
The project consisted of remodeling an old supermarket and joining it to an old project that was a strip center, designed years back by ABWB. The proyect has one hundred commercial stores, a reno vated supermarket, gym, cinema and the construction of parking lots for the entire public calculated according to the O.G.U.C (in Chile is Ordenanza General de Urbanismo y Construcciones, translate it to English means the General Ordinance of Urban Planning and Construction).
I have to work in design stages, especially in the stage where the cinema and underground parking were located. I have to coordinate with another architect all the required specialties, added to the municipal income (which was approved) You will observe the sheets maded to obtain the municipal permit. In Chile, in addition to respecting the approved surface chart, plans must be delivered with the elements that are maintained (gray), demolished (yellow) and constructed (red) in addition to the nal plans (which also become As Build plans)

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SANTIAGO OF CHILE - BIM CORDINATION
Cristobal Tirado started working as a collaborator of Smiljan Radic in 2006, in the design of the Mestizo restaurant, and then moved to Milan and Barcelona for four years, where he began to develop his rst projects. Together with his Span ish partners, in 2009, he participated in the international competition to design two public hospitals in La Florida and Maipú, Chile. He won both projects, which brought him back to Chile.
The o ce is quite multidisciplinary, covering mostly public buildings as national / international archi tectural competitions. Cristobal Tirado contacted me to join, in my opinion, the most ambitious architectural project in the country: the Santiago International Airport. With seeing that it is a practi cally new building, its surface increased by 600% compared to the actual building, nally di erentiat ing the two airports: domestic and international.
The challenge also comes in the construction methodology: It is the rst 100% coordinated building in BIM, working on architects, engineers and specialists. I worked with the TIRADO team in the archi tecture part, making among many drawings and 3D models the coordination of vertical elements, bathrooms, skies, pavements among other things

BAYWATER SECONDARY COLLEGE, MELBOURNE VIC
With Baywater Secondary College we were presented with a unique and envious situation – a signi cant transformation of an existing school, which, by removal of several ageing buildings, did not increase the building density of the site. This in turn allowed the site, with its connection to Dandenong Creek and views to the Dandenong Ranges, to retain its almost bucolic character.
As part of the masterplan two new classroom buildings, and administration building and a library were proposed. The classroom buildings’ approach to contemporary pedagogy is based on princi ples of variety and connectivity rather than privileging large shared spaces. The classroom buildings, in double year level groupings, feature generous covered eave spaces, that together within internal courtyards, alternative between covered outdoor learning areas and breakout spaces along their central axis. Placed either side of this axis, the classrooms are able to connect with these areas or be separated from them, providing an array of exible learning con gurations rather than a one size ts all open teaching space.
The form of the administration building is based around a core value of the school; to promote the wellbeing of its students. At the centre of this courtyard building, a sensory garden provides a calm ing outdoor retreat, connected to a wellbeing centre and discreetly observed from surrounding sta and administration spaces.

QUO TESTIMONIUM / 2ND PLACE
https://startfortalents.net/results-pisacall/
Author: Felipe Acuña - Claudio Araya - Jaime Fuenzalida - Felipe RiveraCOOPERTUS – This strategy of occupying the land and integrating it with the envi ronment, allows the libera tion of the subsoil (level -1) as support for the uni ed programs, as well as level 1, for a collective plan of public order. The main access to the subsoil –amphitheater staircase – is delimited by the construc tion of footprints/trails, which in this case, collect the main ows.
PISA CONFERENCE HALL. Pisa, Italia. Time is a moving image of eternity. In his ideological conception, Platon not only subordinates the physical world towards the ideas’ but also, incoherence, the time of eternity. We approach the forecast of tangible and livable space, the common citizen space, as a platform expressly subordinated to the social/per sonal experience among those who inhabit it, the city and its memory.
Hall, the term of the Germanic root khallo which means to cover, is from the Latin coopertus (cover). The construction of a contained and veiled space is the pillar of the proposal whose programmatic platform houses a series of conjugates in the new public network. For this purpose, it is proposed to activate public circu lations in the intervention area by essentially enhancing the pre-existing ows over time.
MORPHING MUSEUM / FINALIST
https://www.nonarchitecture.eu/showing-results/?cat=4-others_s&set=4
Author: Felipe Acuña - Claudio Araya - Jaime Fuenzalida - Felipe RiveraThe community – unconscious ly – manifests a need to under stand and conceive these spaces as places of social congregation and these must be adapted to the evolution process of the city.
Morphing Museum recognizes these elements and the acts in the city as an exhibition space, a memory, vocation of social identity and interactivity between the community and urban ground. A meeting, congregation and playful collective spaces able to adapt immediately to the needs of citizens. A transformable hybrid between street, park, and museum.
PISA CONFERENCE HALL. Pisa, Italia. The city is in constant and fast growth. The public space is and should always be the democratic urban support of all citizen activity. Society evolves and the city must respond. History is a re ection of the urban manifesto, however, explosive growth and lack of planning lead to the degradation of the public space, the loss of identity and the low sense of appropriation with the city.
This phenomenon is evident in Santiago de Chile. Social expressions and mani festations occur, as in most cities, in their public spaces. The focal point of the major congregations in Chile is Plaza Baquedano, which, paradoxically, is a high tra c ow roundabout.
YOUNG ARCHITECTS COMPETITIONS / FINALIST
https://www.youngarchitectscompetitions.com/competition/italian-fashion-hub#mentions
Author: Felipe Acuña - Claudio Araya - Jaime Fuenzalida - Felipe RiveraOur decisions respond, essentially, to what is the position of our architecture against the fashion concept; understanding fashionable as scenery for people, an experience through the textile, its textures, and colors, a new identity is attributed to the human body.
Our project is not such, without a signi cance for the collective identity. We regenerate the value of the image, discover and nurture the vocation of the project and the place, returning to what once these lands represented as politi cal and military successes.
Going back to the beginning, return to the brick, that the user is the main actor of this work, the protagonist. To build the experience and to highlight the roots of the local heritage as the architec tural ruler of the project. Wrap the facades, attach to the pre-existence, not deny them, but respect them and seduce with a blanket all previous morphology for the preparation of new spaces deliv ered to the visitor.
We create an ethereal, voluble and interpretative democratic monument, an international scenario as an interactive and recreational platform, whose social coexistence coexists between disciplines -architecture and fashion- for the renewal and reinvention of the fabric of the new symbol of interna tional fashion.

Author: Josep Ferrando + UFT“Ocho Quebradas” Pavilion. Los Vilos, Chile. The project of the “Ocho Quebradas” Pavilion in Los Vilos (Chile) was born after its assignment by the University of Finis Terrae and located within the housing development project 8³, where 8 construction phases, consisting of 8 houses each, will be developed in succession. The assignment consists concretely in generating an entrance, a threshold for the complex of houses that will occupy the second and third phase, planned respectively by eight Japanese and Chilean architecture o ces: O + H , Junya Ishigami, Atelier Bow Wow – Momoyo Kajima & Yoshiharu Tsukamoto, Akihisa Hirata, Kazuyo Sejima, Kengo Kuma, Ryue Nishi zawa, Sou Fujimoto, HLPS arquitectos, Alejandro Aravena, Cristian Undurraga, Felipe Assadi, Max Nuñes, WMR arquitectos, Izquierdo Lehmann And Guillermo Acuña. The project had to then be constructed by a group of professors and students of the UFT in four days.
QUINCHO FA
Author: Jaime FuenzalidaThe job is to rebuild the family barbecue. The old barbecue had a small awning, which was in a deplorable state and a small grill that was almost rusty. The FA family is good to meet and make roasts, so they requested this commission, together with the installation of an oven, washing facilities and a wine cellar.
