I cut my hair, I cut my work and I moved into the faux gold landscapes I made, but sometimes I wonder if I imagined the rose light that night.
Pather is yet to understand the formulaic act of an artist biography as anything other than proving you should be liked because someone has previously liked you. She lives and works in Johannesburg as a finger painter and female. Pather is interested in value, rejection and production. 'Everything Must Go' is her second solo exhibition with 99 Loop.

To examine the notion of rejection in an immediate and experiential way, Pather invited audiences to reject the titles she had supplied these artworks with.
Viewers were able to title the works based on their own responses, disallowing Pather’s interpretation of her deeply personal experiences.
