Managers play the biggest role in a football clubs success. This top 6 counts down our favourite managers this season so far, and we dont see them leaving their clubs anytime soon.

predicted finishes La Liga

Spain

La Liga Santander has played host to a very interesting season so far with current European and Spanish champions sitting 19 points behind of top of the table undefeated Barcelona and 11 points behind fierce rivals Atletico Madrid. Barcelona have been extremely strong this season and without a doubt going to win the leauge unless they choke hard enough for Atletico to make a historic comeback but we just dont see that happening. Also this year Valencia C.F have taken the leauge by storm as last season 13th place finshes led the leauge after 10 games but have since fallen out of form dropping down to 4th place after 22 games played.

1

Bundesliga

Germany

The Bundesliga is one of the most neglected leauges of the big 5. With the supremecy and dominance of leauge giants Bayern Munich there hasnt been much room for competition in the leauge. However, with the unlikely 2nd placed 2017 team Red Bull Leipzig the leaders finally have a bit of competition along with the likes of Burrisia Dortmund and FC Shalke 04. With the arrival of Michy Batshuyai, Dortmund have now got a number 9 that seems happy at the club after Pierre Emerick Aubamyang left for Arsenal on deadline day. And with Bayern buying the best young midefielder in Goretzka who is currently playing for Shalke. One club needs to step up and knock Bayern off the thorne.

The Premier Leauge is undoubtedly the most competitive leauge in the world and plays host to some of the best teams in football history. Each year a new piece of history is made. This year Manchester City have rocketed to the top of the table and havent moved since round 2. They went on an unbeaten 18 game win streak in all competitions and are 12 points clear of 2nd place bitter rivals Manchester United. Across to London where Arsenal have has another shocking year which will probably be Arsen Wenger last. Tottenham and Liverpool have been neck and neck for the 3rd place on the table and last seasons champions Chelsea have been anything but.

Italy

The Serie A this year has been a different one in Italy. Not only are Juventus in 2nd place. This year could be the year that their 6 year title streak comes to an end. With leauge leaders Napoli in amazing form, we can see a photo finish on the cards this year, and it could go either way. Looking down the table the standout position is 7th place. This is where italian giants AC Milan sit. 23 points away from the leaders and 13 points out of the top 4, we can only see them pushing for a Europa Leauge spot and even then they might stuggle to get there as Lazio and Sampdoria plan on making the final stretch a hard one. Roma and Inter also have to watch their backs as those two teams could nudge one out of that beloved Champions Leauge spot

Ligue 1

France

Liuge 1, reffered to as the most uncompetitive leauge out of the top 5, has been a pretty standard season after the unexpected champions last season in AS Monaco took the crown off French heavy-weights PSG. Though this year order seems to have been restored as PSG sit 8 points clear at the top of the table with Monaco being the only real threat to their title hopes. Other teams like Lyon and Marselle are also in the race for 2nd place but we dont see anyone catching PSG in the final stretch.

PSG

Kylian Mbappe took Ligue 1 and the world by storm last season when he took AS Monaco too their 7th leauge title in the top flight of France. Since joining PSG he has become easily the most promising young star in world football still only being 19 years old. Along side PSG's record signing Neymar Jr and the clubs record scorer Edison Cavani we will see many more goals and victories to come.

Liverpool

Since joining Liverpool at the start of the season for a reported $37 million euros Mohammed Salah has scored 31 goals and has provided 9 assists in all competitions this season. At only age 25 we can only see him scoring more and more and having piles of success in years to come.

Ciro Immobile Lazio

Ciro Immobile has been nothing but clinical in his 2017/18 season. Ciro has scored 32 goals and has assisted 10 in his campaign. Without a doubt Immobile is on of the most underated number 9's in european football. After an unsuccessful run in the World Cup with Italy he can now focus entirely on his club football and possibly even winning this years golden boot.

Harry Kane Tottenham

Harry Kane has without a doubt become one of the best strikers in all of world football over the last few seasons with Tottenham Hotspur. This seasons goal spree has seen Kane net 35 goals in all competitions and has provided 3 assists. With a market value of over $100 millions dollars, it seems every top club in Europe is looking to snatch him up. But honestly we cant see him playing anywhere else.

Edison Cavani PSG

This season Edison Cavani is still doing his best to prove the criticts wrong about his ability to be one of the best nuber nines in world football. Not only is he the top scorer in France but he has this season become PSG's highest goal socrer by overtaking the king Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This season we will no doubt see Edison go for the Golden Boot for the 5th time in his career.

anchester City have taken the Premier League and run a country mile in front of all of their competition. At the time of writing they sit 16 points clear of second place rivals Manchester United and an astnoishing 33 points clear of the 6th place Arsenal. This season is the closest the team have come to the Premier Leauge title since they clinched the title from their big brothers across the street in 2013. This has been the best season in the clubs short history. With the financial funding of dreams delivered by owner Sheikh Mansour has allowed managers to spend millions on millions of dollars on world class athletes. In recent years managers have signed superstar after superstar with names including Kevin De Bryune, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane and many many more. These key signings as well as a much needed switch in management has led the club to become one of the most threatening in world fooball. This season they have only conceded two defeats, one to a very strong and revitalised Liverpool team, and a shock exit from the FA Cup by way of Wigan Athletic. Besides that City have been flawless this season and have set a huge expectation for other teams in England to try and keep up with their raw talent.

So far in City's dream season they have won one trophy, being the Caraboa Cup. Although they have only won one trophy this season, the highly coveted Treble is well on the cards. After pretty much sealing the Premier League trophy by mid season all the sky blues have to do now is win the Champions League. Now that is easier said the done. But at the time of writing City have already made it to the quater finals after they cruised past FC Basel over two legs. If they win the Champions League they will be the first English club to win the treble in over 10 years. And we think they have the best chance of doing this as the have European football in they palm of their hands right now.

The big questions

Since arriving at City, Guardiola has made some marquee singings of very young, talented and promising stars. But he has also played a major role in ending the playing careers of loyal Manchester City players like Joe Hart who was loaned out to Torino in the first season of Guardiola's stay. Now at West Ham, Hart's career has taken a huge plummet since meeting Pep. Another loyal City player who was also dropped was the African powerhouse Yaya Toure who had served almost 5 seasons with the English heavyweights, winning the Premier League along the way as well as numerous other torphies.

Of course the have the talent! After winning 18 games straight before a dramatic loss to Liverpool, City have been the most dominant team this season and the most dominant Premier League team since Arsene Wenger's Invincibles of 2002. We beleive the only teams that can contest the treble are the only two teams left to compete with, in Bayern and Barcelona. Out of the three teams it is extermely difficult to predict as each team has dominated their respective leagues and will set up an amazing finish to the 2017/18 season.

Ones to watch This season City have treated us to some amazing young and old talents. We've picked Leroy Sane, Nicolas Otamendi, Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne as our ones to watch as they try and claim the treble for the first time in the clubs history. With Sane's speed, Aguero's finishing, De Bruyne's creativity and Otamendi's strength we can see these four causing absolute mayhem for oppositon defense.

Can they continue the form? If Gaurdiola can keep the players heads in check and not let the success get to their heads they could potentially dominate European football for many years to come. However, many other strong clubs will be looking to pinch their talent so Pep needs to be on his toes and figure out which players are crucial and which can he let go?

Arguably the greatest player to ever touch a football, Lionel Messi has dominated the topic since he burst onto the scene in 2004 as a 19 year old wonderkid who debuted for FC Barcelona and scored one of the greatest goals in football history displaying his amazing dribbling and finishing skills. Now 14 years on Messi has won 4 Ballon D'or awards and has won more than 20 trophies including 2 Champions League trophies and 6 La Liga titlles. This season has arguably been one of Kane's best yet. He's previous two seasons have also been nothing far from excellent as Kane bagged himself 63 goals in the two campaigns. This year he has led Tottenham to many victories and they sit in 4th positions only 6 points behind Liverpool who are in 3rd. Kane has definately proved a point to his critics as to why he is Englands main man on the international front. We look forward to seeing him in full flights at this years World Cup although his season is in doubt now after a nasty injury that could really hinder his sides top four hopes.

We have picked the players who shine bright for club but their country hasnt seen them in full flight. Here is our Top 6 World Cup debutants that we beleive will shine for their country.

Honurable Mentions Sadio Mane

Aaron Mooy

Hirving Lozano

1

Christian Eriksen

Mohammed Salah Mohammed Salah's form this season has been absolutely exceptional. Arriving at Liverpool for a fee around 30 million pounds he has quickly become one of the most expensive players on the market. Wanted by almost every to club in Europe, Salah has a massive future ahead of him. Egyptian fans will be rubbing their hands in joy knowing that this little genius will be representing their country in the countries first ever World Cup. Expect alot of goals from Salah and expect Egypt to be a force to be reckoned with as they go into the tournament as massive underdogs.

Leroy Sane took a little while to settle in at Manchester City under new manager Pep Guardiola. His first season was some what rocky and fans were sceptical about this expensive young man. However, this season has really brought him out of his shell and he has broken well into the starting XI and has become curcial to City and Peps vision. Scoring an abundance of goals in City's super season Sane has made a name for himself as one of the most promising young stars in world football. Germany have a massive decision to make as they have a wide, wide variety of wingers and we think Sane can really prove himself in the worlds biggest event. With how much success Manchester City have had it would be almost a no brainer to select Leroy as at least a substitute. We will have to wait and see if he can handle all the expectation and pressure involved with the World Cup.

Leroy Sane

Christian Eriksen is easliy one of the best players in the Tottenham squad and maybe even the Premier League. His attacking capabilities have been described as 'scary', 'beautiful' and 'magnificent'. He has been instrumental in Denmarks qualificaiton campaign. Without him, we are unsure if the Danish men would be in the tournament. This will be Christians first ever World Cup and he will be looking to impress. Of coruse, because of his experience and raw talent he has been named as captain for the tournament and has every quality you need in a leader. Denmark will be hoping their main man remains injury free for the rest of his Premier League journey and is in red hot form to light up the world stage.

Robert Lewandowski took the Bundesliga by storm when he arrived at Borrusia Dortmund in the summer of 2014. In his short time their he impressed many big clubs in Europe. But one club rose to the top signed the Polish superstar on a free transfer. This club was none other than German giants and Dortmunds biggest rival Bayern Munich. In his time at Bayern, Robert has been the top scorer in Germany every season. His prolific goal socring talent has seen him become captain and crucial player for the Polish national team. This will be Lewandowskis first ever World Cup and he will be looking to impress. At age 29 Lewandowski is heading towards the end of his career and he will definately be looking to take the World Cup with the to the end. Obviously it will be alot harder to win the tournament with a team like Poland as to the likes of Germany, Spain, Portugal and Argentina, but we beleive in Lewandowski has his shooting boots on and his teammates know how to use that, Poland could be a force to be reckoned with.

Robert Lewandowski

Gabriel Jesus has become the most promising football player in the world since his arrival at Manchester City after he obviously impressed his new boss Pep Guardiola in his successful campaign in the 2016 Olympics in his home country Brazil. Now a Gold Medalist, looking to be a Premier League champion, Jesus has already started his career with a bang and an abundance of success. He'll be looking to win the World Cup sooner rather than later and go down in history with Brazil by winning the World Cup and the Olympics withing a 2 year period. Can he do it? We think so. With the superstar line-up around him including Neymar Jr, Willian, David Luiz, Marcelo, Coutinho, Firmino and many more, Brazil could and have a very strong chance of going all the way this time around and will be looking to make up for their shocking exit last time when they were smashed 7-1 by reigning champions Germany.

Gabriel Jesus

Kylian Mbappe has made his presence known in the last two seasons by taking As Monaco to another Ligue 1 title and is looking to win another with French giants PSG. Rumoured to be wanted by every club in Europe that can afford his 100 million plus transfer fee. He will be hoping to impress in this World Cup and will want to be one of Frances main men and will be looking to gain his first peace of international silverware in the senior team. Shining bright for France in the under 20's team, he looks like he could become the future of France and French football for years to come.
