I am a fifth year at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo majoring in architecture. Working in leadership roles with clubs like AIAS and NOMAS has taught me the value of every body’s individual experiences and how all these can come together to create a stronger team than each individual alone and allowed me to discover my desire to propel this profession forward. I am obsessed with constantly learning new things, and minoring in Sustainable Environments as well as Architectural Engineering has given me opportunities to think about buildings holistically instead of purely aesthetic pieces of art, but also acknowledging the place and the process. I want to make the best of every situation and be part of a collaborative environment that values teamwork, learning, and inventing.
