PROJECT BRIEF A neighborhood unit is a compact urban planning concept where mixed land uses like residential, commercial, and green spaces coexist within a walkable area. Local services, parks, and schools are strategically placed, reducing the need for long commutes. Pedestrian-friendly paths and limited vehicle access enhance safety. These units promote sustainable living, as daily needs are met within a short distance, reducing car dependency and environmental impact. The design encourages community interaction, creating a sense of belonging and improving residents’ overall well-being. Neighborhood units epitomize a self-contained, interconnected, and vibrant microcosm within the larger urban context
