Forth Year - Interior Design Studio

Objective: Take a selected space in the Halle building located in downtown Cleveland. Project is made to display the learned skills throughout the last four years in an application that the student is particularly interested in, so long as the end use services the area appropriately. LaunchHouse Renovation Page 5

Fourth Year - Interior Design Studio

Objective: Renovate the existing space to better suite the needs of the current tenant. The current tenant, LaunchHouse, is a business accelerator located in Shaker Heights, Ohio. No existing construction needs to remain in tact. Completed with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and a Physical Model. Duration of project: 3 months.

Department Store and Restaurant Third Year - Interior Design Studio

Page 7

Objective: Take an existing construction in Florence’s city center and renovate it to a new department store. Each floor of the department store is to be divided among groups for the design. Completed with AutoCAD 2011, Google SketchUp 8, Kerkythea 2008, Hand Renderings, Adobe Creative Suite, and a Physical Model. Duration of project: 4 months.

Third Year - Interior Design Studio

Objective: Create an efficient space plan for a law firm office. Only one elevator lobby is in use and the law firm will occupy the entire floor. Completed with AutoCAD. Duration of project: 3 weeks.

Second Year - Architectural Design Studio

Objective: To define a 9x9x9 Cube by using three volumes of a lesser size. Lines are to be pulled only from the three forms. Mediums used to construct the three forms are limited to wood, vellum, and wood stick. Duration of Project: 6 weeks.

First Year - Color Theory and Application

Combination of two seperate projects. Completed with acrylic on bristol. Project 1 shows the difference in a pattern when using Primary, Secondary and Tertiary colors as opposed to a Monochromatic color scheme. Project 2 examines more color combination possibilities and how they effect the perception of the pattern. Duration of combined projects: 2 months.

First Year - Interior Design Studio

Objective: Take an image and examine the geometries of it. Select from your analysis lines that stand out and create a 3D form from those lines. Materials used include acetate, black foamcore, and wood. Duration of project: 2 months.
