Halloween Assembly Report

Best Halloween Costumes:

For Halloween 2021, third years dressed up in all sorts of costumes and outfits and got very creative with their ideas.

The winner for best dressed went to Amelia Conroy in 3Q for her amazing princess fairy costume and she won a €15 gift voucher for Penney’s. Ms Buckley and Mr Nolan helped judge who they thought deserved the winning prize.

3Q’s Halloween Assembly:

3Q hosted a Halloween themed assembly on Friday morning the 21st of October. It started off with a fun Kahoot and everyone’s Halloween song knowledge was tested as third years were tasked with finishing the lyrics to Halloween songs.

The Kahoot was followed by a spooky and fun drawing

competition, everyone was given three scary characters to draw; a ghost, a witch and a zombie, all within three minutes and they sent their final pictures to Ms Grace for the class to judge.

Next it was time to see how fast everyone could take various pictures with given clues. Everyone was asked to take and send pictures and the fastest one each round.

Mr. Cullen’s math’s class won best class picture.

The Halloween Scavenger Hunt!

Each class was given a first clue to their next location. At each location they were given another clue and everyone eventually ended up on the hockey pitch where they were greeted by Ms. Guinan, Ms. Grace and 3Q.

The winners from the previous games were given their prizes and everyone got lollipops as a mini Halloween treat. Thank you to Ms. Grace and 3Q for organizing this for everyone.
