Galanis based on the designs of Robert Rafael Haardt, including: Engraved front cover, engraved title page, Frontispiece, 6 full-page engravings, 16 chapter ornaments and a variety of engraved initials. e explorers Georges-Marie Haardt & Louis Audouin-Dubreuil were appointed as leading members of the Citroën expeditions, across the Sahara in a half-track in 1922-23 and then in Africa in 1924-25. e current book is issued just a er and inspired by the Africa expedition.
