Issue Doing the laundry is one of the must-do chores for everyone. For the elderly and those that have physical limitations, doing the laundry is very problematic. One in five elderly have mobility problems Elderly people often have back ailments
One in five elderly have mobility problems.
Elder people with mobility problems appear to be less happy.

Shopping-cart-like shape
I thought of a cart for doing laundry, and then found it too childish-looking, so I changed the appearance of the basket. The change from one bag to two bags is also a improvement on my design.
The box-shaped cart is simple in form, but clothes will need to be taken out from it one by one.

The basket is removable from the cart, but too many clothes will make the basket too heavy for elderly people to handle.
Even though some elder people have mobility problems, or suffer from back ailment, doing house chores make them less depressed from ageing.
Bags clipped on to the cart The bags can be taken out, which is efficient. Clothes can be divided into two bags, so it will be easier to lift.

How To Use
The bag is hung on the frame of the cart.
Laundry are easily put into the bags because of the height

Issue Children tend to dislike brushing their teeth. Even worse, they don’t brush their teeth in the right way. There are problems we often ignore when brushing our teeth: 1. The best amount of time of brushing teeth is about 2 minutes. 2. Many people brush their teeth rather too harshly. 3. The number of times we brush in short-range horizontal movement is more important than the strength we put in brushing.
Facts
People who do not form a good brushing habit at a young age tend to get tooth decay easier and have worse oral health later on.

The everyday brushing report will be kept here, and will also remind you when an appointment with a dentist is coming soon.
When having trouble finding a dental clinic, this will be a useful function.
Before tooth brushing Kids will have to press the power button to start their brushing.
Tooth brushing The ball in the toothbrush will move around if kids are doing short horizontal movements.
BEEP! Brushing too heavily There will be a sound made if Brush-Well senses too much pressure.
Brushing complete after 2 minutes! The light will turn red when kids finish brushing for 2minutes .
After tooth brushing Parents will receive a notice on their BrushWell app.

ISSUE
Good Night Buddy is a night lamp in the shape of a sleepy bear. It is a friend to everyone who is afraid of sleeping alone in the dark.
It could sing lullabies to you and stay illuminated beside you, with just the enough amount of light glowing.
It could also show you time and wake you up if you desire!

HELLO BAMA
ISSUE As we grow older, so do our family members. Our elder parents and/or grandparents often have a hard time trying to communicate with us, and vice versa. This make people who love each other grow further apart gradually.
FACT In Taiwan, 35% of people older than 75 years old, and 18% of people from 65-74 years old have hearing problems of all sorts of levels. 25-30% of people older than 65 years old suffer from hearing loss.
MY START POINT The gap between me and my grandparents is mostly caused by hearing aids. When I call for a visit, my grandfather seldom understands what I am talking about, and it leaves him confused and nervous. It also makes me feel guilty for putting him in such a situation. I want to change this situation by designing a gadget to bring the family closer.
I want to give this product a minimalist look, which fits any house perfectly. Also, the user depends, thus designing different sizes of the product for different family members to use is necessary. Also, I think it will be interesting if it also has a lamp function.

As we become grown-ups, our parents age, too. It is a design that reminds people to communicate with patience and love with their elder parents/grandparents.
I designed it in the shape of a decoration that can be put on the table, a night stand‌ etc. Every time people see it, it will remind people, “Have you talked nicely with your parents/grandparents today?â€? The design comes in three different sizes, for different members to use.
Pink, small size Is for kids from 5-12, who have smaller hands.

Issue
People are calling for water preserving since a large portion of water in the water cycle has been polluted, and water shortage occur in various regions of the world. However, we don’t often think of it when we use water.
Let It Rain reminds people of better water usage, and makes use of the water people never thought could be reused.

With the shape of a cloud and a rainbow, this product gives a different feel to the kitchen.
Remind people to preserve even the smallest amount of water.
My Start Point After we wash the table wares or kitchen utensils, we often just put them into the containers, which makes the bottom part of the container wet, and it might accumulate lots of germs. How about we reuse the small amount of water and also create a green space in the kitchen?
The water will drip from the cloud to the plants.

The bars on each side of the cloud reminds people of a rainbow.

ISSUE We’ve all been there—awkward dates at the restaurant when food is not yet served, and the conversation is getting boring… Most of us choose to escape into our little worlds, or into our phones. What if there is a way for us to interact with each other, to have some fun —while assembling our table wares?
5W1H WHY People choose to escape into their phones when they feel bored.
WHAT To make dining more fun, and help people get closer with each other.
