I’M KATE Hi there!
From a young age, I have always found an interest in design. I would sit at our kitchen table and draw floor plans, this interest was sparked when we had renovations on our country home in Cummins, my brother worked on these renovations as a builder and my uncle as the Architect. During my schooling, I had the opportunity to undertake work experience at a company not far from home called Lowe and Redding Design. It was here that my love for design was confirmed. I eventually found myself back there in my adulthood doing more work experience. I have now completed my bachelor of Architectural Design and a Master's in Architecture at Adelaide University.
I have quickly learnt new programs and have a strong passion for sustainability, responsible production, well-being and cultural respect, which can be seen in all projects I undertake. With these projects, I have also found that I thrive when working as team, but also enjoy solo projects. Throughout my studies I found my core values, and I find myself wanting to leave my mark on the world, as I m now aware how much influence our surroundings have on the way we are as human beings.
