From National Geographic comes this British documentary series that shines a spotlight on the lives of people with dwarfism and how their world differs from that of taller people. From Colombian dwarfs determined to prove they can compete in bullfighting to a theme park populated by dwarfs, the show highlights dwarfs trying to prove they can thrive in a “normal” world despite their small stature.

What attracted you to the role of Carrie Kelley –aka Robin – in “Gotham Knights”?

I’ve always loved DC Comics. When I was auditioning for the show, I was living in L.A., and in my room I had a wall of framed DC Comic book covers, two of which Robin appeared on – the traditional Robin. And so it’s just always been a part of my fabric of entertainment.

I have four older brothers who always adored Batman movies and so that’s always been a part of me. So when I saw the audition come through, I got really excited about the idea of being a part of the Gotham universe and the DC universe in some way.
