MICHELLE VIZZUTTI FAREWELLED
Michelle Vizzutti has retired from the AAAA after an incredible 30 years of dedicated service
Michelle Vizzutti officially finished up in her role as Manager – Administration and Major Events with the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) on the 6th of April, although will remain in a part-time capacity for a short period to assist with the transition arrangements.
“It is with sadness but also great excitement that after 30 years with the AAAA, the time has come for me to turn a new page and say goodbye,” Michelle said.
“Moving forward, it is now time for me to do all those things I have wanted to do, and spend much more time with my family as I venture into retirement.
“I am honoured to have been a part of such a wonderful Association for so many years and I want to thank each and every one of you who has provided guidance, friendship, lots of laughter and so many fond memories during my time here.
“Thank you for all the camaraderie, the support, and the happy times. I wish you all great success in your future endeavours.”
Michelle’s career at the AAAA began when she joined the Association in a part time administration role based out of a small office at Monash University in Caufield under the leadership of David Wright. At that time there was only three employees, a few hundred members, and very little cash reserves.
Over the years Michelle has played a critical role in the phenomenal growth and success of the AAAA business and has been instrumental in overseeing administration, finance, major events and the awards program as well as contributing to membership, international missions and the magazine.
Michelle’s significant impact on the Association, its members and her colleagues was acknowledged by AAAA Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Charity.
“It is an emotional time for all of us, given Michelle has been such a valued member of the AAAA team for so long,” Stuart said.
“She is diligent, dedicated and has been a role model and mentor for so many of our staff over her journey.
“Her ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to roll up her sleeves and get things done is admirable, and her understanding of all elements of the business has been a huge asset.
“Michelle is universally loved, valued and respected by all the staff, directors and members that have cycled through the organisation during her time with us.
“From a personal perspective, I will greatly miss working with Michelle and I wanted to personally thank her for her loyalty, hard work, support and friendship…she will be dearly missed but will always be considered part of the team.
“On behalf of the entire AAAA family we wish Michelle good health, happiness and success in this next phase of her life.”
The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Magazine team wishes Michelle all the best for the future.
