ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY WORKSHOP PRODUCTS
Lanotec is bringing Australian-Made sustainable lubrication to the automotive trade
Lanotec, an Australian-made leader in sustainable multi-purpose lubricants and protectants, has extended its specialist offering with a suite of products it says are perfect for professional automotive workshops and home mechanics.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2023, Lanotec’s range is said to be the culmination of long-term development focused on premium quality, all-natural and sustainable lanolin-based products, which are non-toxic and ideal for use in environmentally sensitive locations.
Lanolin is an organic substance produced by sheep to shield the coating on their fleece, which carries its amazing protective properties into a wide range of real-world uses.
A new consumer-grade product is Lanotec MPX, which Lanotec describes as the ideal multipurpose product to use around the workshop, home or garden, whenever a dependable lubricant or penetrant is required.
While providing long-lasting lubrication, MPX also penetrates to free up rusted tools, nuts and bolts; stops squeaks; and repels moisture while preventing water ingress, protecting metal from corrosion, and rejuvenating vinyl, leather and powder-coated surfaces, amongst a multitude of potential uses.
The new aerosol line features a handy combo nozzle for use in any circumstance, with its inert CO2 propellent non-hazardous and nonflammable, ensuring maximum delivery of active ingredients.
Lanotec also produces Type A Grease and Soft Grease, as well as welding Anti Spatter, which lubricates tapping, drilling and pressing, protects welding nozzles, and preserves leather gloves and aprons, all while having no effect on the galvanising process.
The perfect companion to the lanolin-based range is Lanotec Citra-Force, an organic industrialstrength cleaner and natural degreaser, which safely cleans a wide range of finishes, including aluminium, stainless steel and anodised surfaces without streaking.
The industrial strength product removes hardto-clean material, including oil, grease, carbon, adhesives, acrylic paint, shipping waxes, blackjack, uncured silicone, sealants, lanolin and rubberised glue, amongst many uses.
Adrad states that it sources its tools and equipment from reputable manufacturers, with a range to suit the needs of both large and small workshops.
From AC charging stations and belt service kits through to jump starters, gauges, hoses, hand tools and cleaning products – there’s something for everyone, says Adrad.
Adrad explains that the tool and equipment brands on offer in its range include well-respected names such as Javac, Ariazone, Johnson, Motovac, CPS, Autotar, Optibelt, Tridon, Victor Reinz, Holts, UView and many more.

Meanwhile, Lanotec says its General Purpose and Heavy-Duty product offerings are continuing to lead the charge in professional applications, providing “next-level lubrication and protection while cleaning, rejuvenating and extending the life of metal, timber, plastic, rubber, and fibreglass finishes.”
A popular line for 4WDs, light vehicles and plant equipment is Lanotec Steel-Seal, which not only provides high-performance corrosion protection for underbodies, but also prevents further rust from developing on already corroded areas. It is particularly useful in areas where vehicles encounter salt water, fertiliser, at chemical storage facilities, and in other harsh environments.
The products are available in 300g aerosol, 600ml spray packs, and five-litre bulk pack sizes.
“Over the years, Lanotec’s various products have found favour throughout the automotive trades because they are non-toxic, biodegradable, and safe to use around a wide range of components,” Lanotec Australia General Manager, Robert Doncon, said.
“More and more, users understand the advantages of moving away from petrochemical options to environmentally friendly solutions, while equally important is the ability to support Australian-made products.
“We have worked extensively with professionals in the automotive field to create a full suite of products that lead the market in terms of long-term protection and are adaptable to a massive array of applications.
“Our doubling down of our commitment to the automotive space comes at an exciting time for Lanotec, as we celebrate 25 years of operation with additional product lines, new packaging options and fresh branding.
“Not only is Lanotec’s range of lubricants, penetrants, corrosion inhibitors and degreasers the safest and most versatile available in the marketplace, but they are also specifically designed to outlast and outperform the competition.”
