THE POWER OF INTELLIGENT DIAGNOSTICS ON ZEUS
Snap-on says this service is “the ultimate time saver”
The Snap-on Intelligent Diagnostics live on Zeus is the ultimate time-saver and provides technicians with the fastest path to complete the job, says Snap-on.
Snap-on says the Zeus diagnostic and information platform is the perfect combination of quality and coverage needed to maintain technician productivity and workflow through the course of a busy day.
An industry leader in handheld diagnostics since the first onboard computer controlled systems, Snap-on says it has spent extensive research and development to come up with the top of the line ZEUS diagnostic system.
The state-of-the-art diagnostic and calibration tool is capable of a range of functionalities from pulling diagnostic trouble codes and reading live data, to diagnosing issues across multiple systems, and re-calibrating modules, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
After scanning a vehicle, the Smart Data system will automatically sort through and display the relevant data parameters for the fault code it detects. What makes Zeus unique is that it operates exclusively with Intelligent Diagnostics. The benefit of this is it anticipates the technician’s next move and guides them through every step to find the solution.
Intelligent Diagnostics displays only information that is relevant to the specific vehicle and fault code, guiding technicians through the diagnostic process.
It provides access to the latest code-specific data, information, and tests, all obtained from actual repair orders and industry professionals and may also include safety recalls, and technical service bulletins (TSBs).
Snap-on explains that Zeus pulls in “Smart Data” from Intelligent Diagnostics to automatically configure the display to show vehicle data parameters (PID) relevant to the fault code, while non-related data parameters are filtered out to save technicians time.
The Smart Data can be selected where code specific PID lists are generated – saving you the hassle of scrolling through countless data lines looking for that inconsistency in live values. It also highlights vehicle data that is out of expected range.
Snap-on states that Zeus includes manufacturerlevel diagnostic functions, tests and coverage previously found only in expensive factory tools. With real fixes and trouble-shooting, it shows codespecific procedures, tests and tips which have been gathered from actual shop repair orders and industry professionals.
Snap-on says that in a nutshell, Zeus offers a scan tool, lab scope, functional tests, exclusive FastTrack guided component tests, SureTrack expert information, technical service bulletins (TSB) and much more. SureTrack expert information has guided tests which eliminates guesswork.
The accompanying compact scan module is cordless, wireless, easy to carry in a pocket and is conveniently out of the way when connected to a vehicle, while the One-Touch Full Vehicle Code
