A range of new products are available for recently released vehicles, from East Coast Bullbars

East Coast Bullbars, a leading Australian manufacturer of alloy frontal protection products, says it is excited to offer a range of new products to suit recently released vehicles, including the all-new Ford Ranger, Nissan X-Trail, Mazda CX-5, Mitsubishi Outlander, and Hyundai Staria/iLoad.

New product releases include the all-new Single Hoop Winch Bar to suit the LandCruiser 300 Series and Ford Ranger, as well as several updated Nudge Bars that offer an increased level of protection.

Nudge Bars now include a lower strut bar or boxed cross bar additions for increased vehicle protection. ECB explains they have become a standard edition, as well as optional-integrated Narva LED Light Bars on some models. This allows additional lighting without impeding OEM safety features like grille mounted AEB sensors.

Every Bullbar and Nudge Bar is specifically engineered at ECB’s product development facility in Clontarf in Queensland.

At this facility, ECB says there is a focus on lighteralloy products that save weight yet offer the same level of protection over steel alternatives while reducing vehicle operating costs and contributing to vehicle longevity.

It states that the heavier your vehicle is, the harder your vehicle must work to accelerate more mass and maintain the weight at speed, therefore costing more to run while also affecting braking distance, contributing to brake wear. ECB says that its alloy East Coast Bullbars average only 42kg in weight.

In addition to the fuel savings, ECB says the reduction of weight from adding an Alloy Bullbar eliminates the need for a costly suspension upgrade.

It says this is beneficial to any vehicle owner that would like to maintain the original handling characteristics of their vehicle.

In addition, many small-to-medium SUVs on the market lack commercially available upgrade kits. ECB explains it covers car and SUV models most Bullbar manufacturers don’t make frontal protection products for. And in addition to Australia’s most popular SUVs, ECB has frontal protection to suit hybrids and PHEVs.

ECB says heavy bullbars are the enemy of any vehicle and shedding as little as 25kg can add up fast in fuel savings and reduced operating and maintenance costs over the life of the vehicle.

ECB says it is proud to be reinvesting in Australian manufacturing, with its Clontarf, Queensland manufacturing facility employing more than 100 people, which it says makes it the largest private employer on the Moreton Peninsula.

ECB has recently installed upgraded factory machinery including new brake presses, and a state-of-the-art laser cutter for more exacting and finished cuts, new powder-coat finishes, and new products that keep Australians working and producing products.
