BURSON AUTO PARTS REWARDS STORE MANAGERS

The company recently took 17 of its leading store managers to Las Vegas

There are many ways to reward Australia’s highest performing Burson Auto Parts store managers, but the company says nothing beats the return of its annual visit to Auto Week in Las Vegas.

Held annually until disrupted by the pandemic, the first week of November 2022 saw 17 store managers from Australia’s preferred supplier of parts, tools and accessories fly to Los Angeles and drive across the Mojave Desert to one of the most exciting cities in the world.

The visit saw the managers take in an NBA game in Los Angeles, go on a spare parts store tour of Las Vegas, and take a sunset helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon while also visiting two of the world’s largest automotive aftermarket industry trade shows, the SEMA and AAPEX trade exhibitions. With specially themed dinner events each night, a night golf event and even an unplanned close-up look at the World Championship winning Red Bull Formula One car doing high speed practice runs and donut burnouts on Las Vegas Boulevard, the trip proved to be an extraordinary experience for all involved.

Burson Auto Parts suppliers Bendix, Dayco, DBA, Penrite, Ryco, SGF, SWG and Wesfil supported all of the special events conducted for the store managers during this visit, helping to make it a fitting way to thank these hard-working team leaders for their efforts during FY21 and 22.

The store managers were joined by Burson Trade Executive General Manager, Steve Drummy, along with other members of Burson Auto Parts/Bapcor senior management.

“The visit to AAPEX and SEMA was not only a very productive one for the Burson Trade team but a very exciting and enjoyable one for our top performing store managers,” Steve said.

“For some it was their first time overseas or first time visiting the USA, so we made sure it was as memorable an experience as possible for them with the help of some of our valued suppliers.”

Burson Auto Parts is a part of Australasia’s largest automotive aftermarket specialised company, Bapcor.

Burson Auto Parts says this is another example of how this proactive Australian company places strong emphasis on supporting, rewarding and developing the company’s greatest asset – its people.
