HARROP WINS OPTIMA USCI

Optima’s Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI) ran for the second time in Australia late last year

The Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI) has been built off the successful series in the USA which started in 2006 to support the aftermarket industry.

The Ultimate Street Car Association (USCA) runs seven qualification events for the Invitational at Las Vegas Speedway immediately after SEMA. Whilst there is no qualification in Australia, the OUSCI event aims to find the ‘ultimate street car’ across four segments: Motorkhana, Drags, Circuit Sprinting and Speed-Stop. Each segment is worth 100 points, with a bonus five points up for grabs in Show and Shine judging.
