Advanced Architectural Design

When bigger cities grow on behalf of smaller ones and when the countryside is losing its population, new strategies need to be invented concerning the dense urban fabric. In this context the AAD master studio at Lund School of Architecture will take on the challenge of how we dwell in these new situations – from the individual single dwelling unit to the immediate surrounding public realm – and how they in their turn relate to the overall urban tissue.
