GEMS TEACHER AWARD LOGO CONCEPTS
In line with the founder’s mission to raise the stature of the teaching profession within the country, and in recognition of the drive and passion that Mariamma Varkey has put towards education, GEMS Education launched The Mariamma Varkey Award for Inspirational and Outstanding Teaching at GEMS. The Mariamma Varkey Award for Inspirational and Outstanding Teaching at GEMS will recognise the GEMS teachers who have been deemed to be the most inspirational and outstanding practitioners, overall and at each stage of schooling.
The ‘A’ of the teacher within the star forms a kind of pathway to the MV Awards, which is what these awards are aimed at!?
The pathway within the star - road to the MV Awards
In continuing to highlight how important teachers are, each GEMS school will identify one exceptional teacher every month to be awarded the GEMS Teacher of the Month Award. In April, each school will be asked to put forward ONE of their GEMS Teacher-of-the-month recipients to be their nominee for The Mariamma Varkey Awards for Inspirational and Outstanding Teaching at GEMS.
