My name is Alberto and I am an Architect. Growing up in the southern part of Spain in a family with a long-standing tradition in architecture, sense of structure and creation in design have become part of me. I seek happiness in creating functional and artful structures and spaces that help people connect and explore. Throughout the years my works have been influenced by architects like Alberto Campos Baeza and Herzog & de Meuron; artists like Oteiza, Hiroshi Senju and Miquel Barcelรณ; fashion designers like Cristรณbal Balenciaga and Viktor and Rolf. Their concepts and ways of expression truly inspired my works and design. I have been a practicing Architect for more than five years in Spain, China and Hong Kong since my graduation with a Tri-Continental Master degree in Advanced Architecture and Strategies in Design and a Master degree
in
Architecture.

Designing and managing this project has been one of my most incredible and rewarding experiences. I had the opportunity to work with an extraordinary construction company and a client who fully believed in my inspiration and ideas. This project had enormous details and required thorough studies to create simplicity and at the same time perfect concinnity. It also broadened my experience in construction and project management as I followed through the whole projects with engineers and constructors.

Area 30,200 m2c It’s already under construction, it was a great honor to design one of the main buildings of this complex.
For the conception of this new museum we desired to capture the main purpose and use of the building by dividing it into two volumes: Science and Urban Planning. Science is characterized by vegetation and Urban Planning by the use of bricks with the facade finished with a perforated skin to give a sensation of unification. For the central sculpture, the strategy was to provide a space to users for small exhibitions and open auditoriums.

The skin of the building is generated with Rhino + Grasshopper The opening of the holes refers to the map of the city.

Construction Information :
The main volumes are made of white concrete in situ to create a feeling of purity with layers of terrain elaborated with wood and corten steel (earthy colors and textures)
The construction of this project was carried out centering around a metal structure, in situ concrete walls and prefabricated concrete slabs.
The building concept is to connect spaces by using installations and analyzing details in space arrangement to give the dancers a place to cultivate their careers and enjoy their learnings in a multipurpose space.
The idea is to transcend the idea of dancing and trace back its connection with the city to showcase dancing in this multipurpose space with a backdrop of the city. The squares of the building are spaces where culture, life and dancing explore each other.
The interior of the building is a visual cone where everything remains visible. With different views at different heights, it symbolizes how the knowledge is transmitted.
