Site visits, Co-ordination, Leading projects, Guiding interns, Collaborations and Conversations; brought me closer to the projects and people associated with it.
- 45 acres Farmhouse, Ahmedabad Landscape design, grading to mitigate storm-water, superimposed utilities - external lighting, sound, irrigation, water and sanitation supply. Prepared the BOQ for landscape. - Land-Use Plan Development of 1400 Acres, Shahapur, Western Ghats Site analysis, development objective and client brief; proposed a broad land-use plan for the phase-wise development, hence delineating zones for residential, recreational - leisure, community, commercial, educational, services and land-based industries. - Developing Urban Nodes within the planned city of Palava near Mumbai · Commercial Complex - Graded the formation levels of the commercial complex site. Being the Main Entrance to the City, it had to be a landmark landscape, levels were negotiated accordingly. · Wetland Park - Anchored the conceptual design presentation for this wetland park. · Waterfront Park - Anchored the conceptual design, programme development and grading, storm water management of this 2.15km long waterfront. for the park. - Urban Parks, Ahmedabad Under a pro-bono initiative where 6 design firms collaborated to survey, document, analyze, design and execute city parks, thereby fostering civic responsibility amongst the citizens
Prepared grading plans based on the theory of balancing cut and fill, planting space and efficient mitigation of storm-water. Determined the size and number of compost bins required for each park basis the quantity of compost required and produced on site. Some Iterations for a bench in a public park - In-depth Storm-water calculation for a pharmaceutical company in Ahmedabad, to access the functionality of the sunken areas. - Prepared a Master Plan with utilities for a riverside residence in Surat 3/4
- Prepared a Lighting & Planting Plan for a corporate office in Ahmedabad - Prepared a diagrammatic representation of a university campus in Anand - Prepared a Route Map of a Biodiversity Park along a wetland near Mumbai - Prepared an Art Intervention Plan - an intent plan for locating art within the city of Palava, near Mumbai - Understorey Quest!
