How to Use Engrade 1. Create an account.

-Choosea user name that will be easy to remember as your students will need it to accesstheir grades 2. Add your Classes.

-Be sure to differentiate between class names so they are easily distinguishable 3. Adjust ClassSettings -Basic Settings: general information about the class (the school year, what quarter is it, class code, primary teacher); MUST check “Allow students to view their grades online” -Student List: enter students by first name, last name, last 3 digits of ID # -Grade Settings: use custom for the grading scale to make sure that 65 and below will be failing, weight assignment categories according to the school wide grading policy -Class Access: you will be able to add your co-teacher to the account so they may have full accessto the student’s grades as well once they have created their own account -Class School: Don’t worry about it!

Extra Benefits of Engrade -Attendance: Keep track of student daily attendance as a back up to scholarchip, print monthly summary totals -Calendar: Post student tests, quizzes, days off, etc -Comments: Leave comments about your students -Files: upload files necessary for class -Seating: make and print seating charts as necessary and for subs. *Keep in mind, E=excusedand does not affect the grade, M=missing and will be counted as a zero, EC=extra credit How to Have Students AccessEngrade 1. Print student accesscodes; it should be your username, the last 3 of their ID and a number randomly generated by engrade.

2. Students must register for Engrade using their accesscode. Once registered students may accesstheir grades at any time.

3. Add multiple classesby clicking “Add Classes” and entering accesscodes from multiple teachers.

4. Students can view their grades, their attendance, their attendance and files for class.
