Rio Grande, Argentina, January 2023 and 2024 - Superb sea trout fishing with Olly Thompson Olly returns to Argentina’s spectacular Rio Grande, home of the world’s finest sea trout fishing. With fish of 20lb caught each week, and fish over 30lb caught most seasons, it’s a rewarding destination for anglers who enjoy technical fishing. Providence Atoll, Seychelles, March 2023 and 2024 - GTs and more with Peter McLeod The monster GTs, permit, bumphead parrotfish and open sand flats have proved an irresistible draw to Peter and he returns year after year. His hosted trip to the largest flats area of any atoll in the Seychelles, aboard the purpose designed Maya’s Dugong liveaboard, is an astonishing destination for the adventurous angler. River Gaula, Norway, July 2023 and 2024 - Peak week on productive salmon river with Alex Jardine Alex is hosting a group to the River Gaula in a prime July week. Based at the delightful family-run Winsnes Lodge, the group will have access to 4km of superb double bank fishing. This characterful river sees strong runs of salmon averaging 14 to 18lb with many exceeding 30lb and a few over 40lb. Southern Highlands and Laxardal, Iceland, July 2023 - Wild brown trout and Arctic char with Pete Buckey Pete’s hosted week offers anglers the chance to experience the very best of Iceland’s stunning southern highlands and northern trout rivers. The combination of the Tungnaá and Kaldakvisl for brown trout and Arctic char, and superb dry fly and nymph fishing on the Upper Laxa I Adaldal is hard to beat. Laxa I Kjos, Iceland, July 2023 and 2024 - Prime Salmon with Peter McLeod and Olly Thompson Laxa I Kjos is an intimate river and offers salmon fishing more akin to targeting trout. The small rock pockets, canyons and open meadows are perfect for sight fishing with single handed rods and tiny flies. There are some wonderful hitch fishing opportunities and the occasional large sea trout adds to the excitement. Peter and Olly are both hosting here. Los Roques, Venezuela, October 2023 - Tailing bonefish with Alexander Kennedy The flats and beaches of Los Roques are among the most sought after bonefish fisheries on the planet. Barely touched over the last few years, and with big permit and tarpon on offer too, the well rested waters are full of hungry fish.
Alphonse Island, Seychelles, November 2023 and 2024 - Flats variety with Charlotte Chilcott Charlotte’s annual November trip to Alphonse is one of those rare chances to experience a fishery suitable for all anglers whether you are targeting bonefish, GTs, milkfish, permit or a whole host of other reef and flats species. Variety and consistency are assured with opportunities to fish the flats of both St Francois and Alphonse.
Cuba, November 2023 and 2024 - Caribbean Grand Slam opportunities with Alex Jardine Alex will be returning to the abundant saltwater flats of Cuba, firstly to the Canarreos Archipelago (Cayo Largo and Isle de Juventud) in November 2023 and then the pristine flats of Jardines de la Reina in November 2024.
Cayo Romano, Cuba, April 2024 - Superb saltwater with Alexander Kennedy Alexander’s experience of the cays, mangrove lagoons and flats in this pristine fishery is second to none. There are still areas yet to be explored by anglers, and with bonefish, tarpon and permit cruising the waters there’s the chance of that elusive Grand Slam.
Agua Negra, Bolivia, July 2024 - Golden dorado with Charlotte Chilcott Charlotte’s love of wild places will take her to the Bolivian jungle in search of dorado, pacu and yatorana. With only four anglers plus Charlotte, you’ll need to pack a sense of adventure along with your fishing tackle.
