The study of Broomielaw's architectural features revealed interesting correlations between the hypothesis that the architectural typology prevalent in the territory due to its urban morphology continues to disallowed it from being a desirable place for pedestrian oriented businesses to develop. The territory is low in density of economic units, the buildings are higher here than the rest of the city, there is little retail, no night life, and low pedestrian movement. All of these factors have contributed to the territory being an undesirable place for pedestrians.
