INTRODUCTION THE FIRM was founded in 1999, by architects Sundeep Gwash and Vishal Shah. Today, it has grown to become a well-established, multi-design practice offering integrated architectural design consultancy services for new construction or redevelopment projects. The practice also diversified its scope by providing specialized services to media facility industry in India as well as abroad, in association with Recording Architecture, London as a separate focus since 2003. In early 2008, the practice consolidated its global presence by establishing its first international office 'THE FIRM ASSOCIATES UK LIMITED' at UNITED KINGDOM. PURPOSE Our aim is constant endeavor towards always being the highly respected design firm, known for its design excellence, great organization and, of course, happy clients. We always love to work with well-informed clients, who share our passion for design and innovation. Clients, who are socially conscious and who believe in preserving our natural resources. PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL PROJECT, NIGHU. This project is for low/middle group. Where I was assigned to design the elevation. The façade is played in zigzag profiles.in elevation the parapet has different level of
height at every corners thus the zigzag profile follows the entire structure. Same profile is done in the floor plan where chajjas are in zigzag profile. The colour of structure was initial kept in grey and white tone, later changed to full beige and 3 colours chosen and
applied in alternative floors which created a pattern and followed the concept of Le Corbusier PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL PROJECT, BALKUM. This project is currently ongoing in the site where client needed a setting out of the building. Also, this setting out was issued to located the well in the in the site which is going to be retained.
Site experience hall is a temporary steel double height structure of glass walls designed by me which connects to the surrounding of the site and inside the structure. this contains two different layout containing waiting lounge, meeting room, conference hall, managers cabin, toilets(m/f), small pantry, courtyard open to sky and two sample flats at the surrounding.
PROPOSED ICE FACTORY, MAHAPE. This is an industrial project with plot area of 700 sq.mt. I worked on
CC- DRAWING of the project. The changes were done w.r.t client’s requirements such as, the staircase was initially an open well staircase which disturbs the loading/unloading area. Later designed a compact dog-legged staircase with winders. This made the loading/unloading area more spacious and well ventilated.
Column placing was done and checked by consultants, rainwater harvest pit located, UG Tank is placed at the corner of plot where municipal water pipe line is provided. Followed by Section, elevation and details.
RENOVATION KALA TALAO, KALYAN. This is a public recreational area which is managed and maintained by Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC). kala talao is approached by 18 m wide concrete road. There are two entry gates,
one on the southern side nearby Masjid and another on the north eastern side near Bal Thackeray Memorial. Here, I have designed the entrance arch for gate on the north-eastern side near Bal Thackeray memorial. The concept was to respect the surrounding and enhancing the personality of the location. Material
used is red sand stone and sand finish texture paint and a 3dsculpture of Shivaji Maharaj at the top corner. Overall, this portrays Shivaji Maharaj in a Qila. Further, the detailing of gate, railings and lake edge railing detail was designed in such a manner that it matches the geometry of structure.
PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL CUM COMMERCIAL PROJECT, KALAMBOLI. This project is in conceptual stage planning. G+22 floor tower with
plot area of 3501.8 sq.mt. Main objective through out the planning was to keep the premium flats facing towards the view of creek and compact flats on the rear side. Major number of the flats are facing the creek view which is clients first requirement. All the units are designed in such a way that internal passage is compacted and rooms of given sizes which fulfills clients second requirements. Keeping the
setbacks in mind I had worked out various different options which was sent to client and received many feedbacks for units and layout of the tower. I have also worked out for commercial layout, parking requirement and built-up area calculation and Parking layout. L- PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL CUM COMMERCIAL PROJECT, shape layout is the final cut presentation which is sent to client and SANPADA. freezed for the further drawing.
This project in G+24 floor tower in a concept level planning with plot area of 3000.28 SQ.MT. this is the combination 2bhks-compact, premium and 3bhk flats. Here the main objective is to keep more flats in the roadside facing since the client is same from the kalamboli project the unit area here designed in the same manner with less internal passage with spacious room sizes. Similarly, I
worked out various different building layouts which was sent and discussed with client and worked with their requirements. Thus, keeping all the aspects in mind such as setbacks, passage ratios, consuming FSI etc. I have worked out final freezed layout which covers commercial, parking and building layout.

PROJECT(SAPPHIRE), KALAMBOLI. This residential project was G+16 floor structure for client SAI PROVISO. Designing was originally prepared and first CC-Drawing issued by senior architect Aparna Lad. Followed by the second CCDrawing was for G+21 floor structure issued by me. This is the third CC-drawing issued by me which mainly focuses on composite parking where 6 scooters converted into 1 car, and some changes from client wiz. 1 flat to converted into clubhouse. I have worked on various calculations i.e., BUA calculation, tenements statements, parking require statements, area diagrams,
water tank calculations, door-window schedule, shop layout, column layout, refuge area calculation. Some of the details such as entrance arch, gate details, compound details were worked by me. elevation, section detailing with crown. Followed by firefighting system. I also got the opportunity to work on the working drawing for interior of entrance lobby. This includes tile layout and reflective ceiling plan layout. This covered the requirements of client with material finishes, green wall detailing, full height spider fitted glass window, linear lighting at the elevation, suspended light at double height

This is the second cut presentation designed by me after client’s GOKHALE COMPOUND. feedbacks. I was assigned to design the commercial building in such Schematic 3-d for visualizing the structure for presentation to client.

PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, KOPARKHAIRANE.
My involvement in the project: delivered 2 options where option 1 was with car lift and 2-level basement, option 2 was with tower parking with pit parking layout. units are worked out w.r.t the area that was calculated and given 10% of their carpet area by the builder. this project, I have worked out sale area statements of phase-1. The building alignment/ setting out was done by me in such a manner that building consumes the FSI as per client requirement which was originally 5 floor building is now 19 floor building w.r.t all setback provided. Followed by construction area statement was issued by me for the client.
Layout and units were changed accordingly. Units were redesigned in option 2 and followed the grid of layout. The rehab flats were placed
in the lower floor and sale flats on the upper floors. Here, the setbacks are the major challenge, objective is dead walls placing at the adjacent plot and windows at rear and front side. And worked out: building area statement, construction area statement, parking area statement, sale area statement.
