7. How to take Lorcaserin hydrochloride powder for weight loss?
(1) Before taking Lorcaserin hydrochloride powder You should not take lorcaserin hydrochloride if you are allergic to it. Do not take lorcaserin hydrochloride if you are pregnant. Weight loss during pregnancy can harm an unborn baby, even if you are overweight. Tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant during treatment. To make sure lorcaserin hydrochloride is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have: • diabetes; • congestive heart failure; • a heart valve disorder; • a heart condition such as “AV block” (2nd or 3rd degree); • sickle cell anemia; • leukemia or myeloma; • kidney or liver disease; or • a physical deformity of the penis (such as Peyronie’s disease). It is not known whether Lorcaserin hydrochloride powder passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. You should not breast-feed while using this medicine. Taking Lorcaserin hydrochloride is not approved by anyone younger than 18 years old.
(2) Lorcaserin hydrochloride powder Usage Take Lorcaserin hydrochloride powder exactly as prescribed. Lorcaserin hydrochloride powder comes in tablet form and is taken twice every day. If you do not lose a certain amount of weight during the first 12 weeks of your treatment, it is not likely that you will benefit from taking lorcaserin hydrochloride. It is not known if lorcaserin hydrochloride is safe and effective in children under 18 years old. If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember.
