PARKHELP SENSOR Off/Street APPLICATIONS

PARKINGS INDOOR

DEVICE FEATURES Sensors of the ParkHelp system are located over each one of the parking spaces (exactly in the middle of the space) through a simple and quick installation. It uses ultrasounds to detect the presence of a vehicle in the space and provide information on the status of the space (available or occupied). The sensor provides information on the parking space being monitored to other higher level devices (on their request). It also provides information to the Light, in order to indicate if the space is available or occupied (lighting up the corresponding LEDs). In order to correct detect the status of each space, the sensor has been equipped with a special methodology. This methodology eliminates errors by using coded signals to avoid interferences between sensors. Furthermore, the various sensors located in a car park are interconnected through a single bus, which provides power and data (this greatly facilitates their installation).

PARKINGS INDOOR

SYSTEM ADVANTAGES Thanks to its sophisticated technology, the ParkHelp sensor can perform a series of very useful functions for the car park administrator: Allows automatically changing their configuration through management software, for example, to adjust the detection distance or luminosity of the LEDs. It can measure the temperature in the car park, helping to find high temperature areas or even possible fires. It is possible to force a predetermined status through the management application (for example switch off a Sensor or force status to occupied). There is also a special version for parking spaces for persons with disabilities (these spaces are wider).

FAST INSTALLATION A series of interconnected pieces are used for installation over the parking space. This way it is possible to install the Sensor without requiring screws or tools simply and fast.

We recommend installing the Sensor in the geometric centre of the car park or, in the case of Sensors for people with disabilities, in the centre of the space and at equal distances. This ensures proper detection of any kind of vehicle.

TECHNICAL FEATURES Screw-free installation thanks to the ParkHelp installation device (using aluminium ducting). Size of the external box: 84 mm x 84 mm x 85 mm. Typical consumption: 10 to 60 mA (adjustable). Power supply: 24 to 36 V DC. Communications bus: RS-485 half-duplex. Bus integrated in a single cable, sharing the same power and communications duct. Connection to sensors through a 5-way connector (+Vdc, GND, Earth, 485+, 485-). Includes 2 connectors. Connection between sensor and light using standard patch cable connected to RJ-11 ports. It can stand from 30 degrees below zero to 60 degrees centigrades.

The parts fit directly to aluminium ducts installed on the ceiling. The electronic plate is placed after positioning the base of the part and the bus and communications cables are connected (power + data) to the corresponding light. Finally, the corresponding covers are placed to close and secure the parts.
