Ōtorohanga Kiwi House

A not-for-profit organisation since 1971 and easily one of the best places to meet native birds including kiwi and falcons, there are also ancient eels and tuatara. Try their new Rongoā Rākau tour.

Ed Hillary Walkway

Such a fun laneway in the heart of town, each display highlights something typically – and wonderfully – Kiwi, such as the All Blacks and world-famous pavlova.
