Murchison Must Do's

The park spans from Golden Bay in the North, to Murchison in the South, the latter making an excellent base point.

Thrills range from family friendly to downright terrifying. Graded two to four, choose your adventure.

Easily accessible from the SH 65, these powerful must-see falls are on the Maruia River, a 5-minute walk from the parking.

Soar over Buller River on a 160m flying fox, thrash up the river in a jet boat, teeter across the swing bridge and embark on walks.

Believe it or not, a natural flame has been burning in the forest for a century. Join a four-hour walking and 4WD tour to see for yourself.

One of the country's leading back-country tracks, the course runs from Lyell to Seddonville over five days.
